Yeah it’s going to be Potter. He’s travelling today to meet Boehly.

Will be gutted if they get Potter - although it might take him a while to get them playing his way they will be much much better for it in the long run.

Can’t see Potter saying no to Chelsea. They’ll obviously give him this season but it will be interesting if he starts next season a bit slow as the pressure will be on seeing as it’s Chelsea. He’ll definitely need time there, will they give him enough? I’m not so sure. It’s who I’d want if I was a Chelsea fan, though.

This is the key for me. Plays very positional football and not sure Chelsea have the squad to be able to fully implement it off the bat. Could take a while, but a great appointment if it comes off.

Poch is a downgrade on Tuchel so if they get him that’s fine by me.
Pochettino AND Potter are both arguably downgrades on Tuchel, who for all his faults won the Champions League the season before last and steered Chelsea to two cup finals last year and finished third behind two of the greatest teams in Premier League history.

Potter does look excellent though and may be great for them. But he has a high benchmark to meet given the kind of success Chelsea expect. It will be interesting to see how much time and backing they give him.

Great for us if they get Potter, would mean he’ll be our next manager after Conte.

If Boehly has the patience and ability to give 100% support... Potter might also not care about big names... he might want "unknown" players who fit his idea of football and not players who cost 80-90 mil.

It would be a real shame for Brighton if he left now, they've had a great start and were looking good. I would love it (but be shocked) if he turned Chelsea down. Like others have said, not sure how much time he'd get at Chelsea, but on the flipside he would be working with supposedly better players so may be a quicker process.

It'll immediately make him harder to like also, hope he doesn't turn into a typical Chelsea nob.

Relived it isn’t Poch. Crazy how much his stock has dropped after that PSG job. Guess the new guy getting more out of the front 3 not helping him.

Can’t believe Brighton would let him, then again maybe as he’s done so much for them..

Poch to Brighton? ☺️

Potter turned us down because he wouldn't get full control and he won't get that there either. He'll say no.
Potter never turned us down. When were we ever in negotiations with Potter? We went for Poch, then Conte, then Zorro, then Gattuso, then Nuno. Never were we seriously interested in Potter.

He’ll say yes to Chelsea because it’s a massive step up in his career. Just like he would’ve said yes to us if we made him a serious offer last summer.

Great opportunity for Potter yet a risky one too. He will know this.

All that hard work and reputation he has built as a manager can easily be undone at a club like Chelsea. English managers have always been unfairly labeled as well

Really wanted Potter at Spurs eventually so I’m hoping he gives them the finger.
