Funny thing about that is, Leicester, Chelsea, Sheffield United and Wolves toe the line of spending more than you make. Leicester with their mammoth transfer fees in (Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Maguire etc) are only just braking even these days. When they won the league, they were financially doped to the hills, their behaviour since however has softened that with £200m made on those four I highlighted.
Sheffield United are owned by Prince Abdullah. Smashed their transfer record five times in the space of 6-7 months I believe.
Read my post above. Not THE Saudis, just a minor Saudi royal who is spending his own money on the club. Not like Abu Dhabi group in any way.Wow. Wasn't aware Sheffield are owned by the Saudis. Yuck.
We're near the bottom of league 2, with no moneyGood on Van Veen but maybe he needs to motivate himself more as if he can score two against City then his goal tally per season should be higher - just been looking up his stats and quite poor.
Looks like someone has itchy feet.
Real Madrid a 'fantastic club' - Sterling
Raheem Sterling says Real Madrid are a "fantastic club" but insists he is happy at Manchester City.www.bbc.co.uk
A minor Saudi prince? Just the 10bn pounds then...Read my post above. Not THE Saudis, just a minor Saudi royal who is spending his own money on the club. Not like Abu Dhabi group in any way.
Already dropping hints in the Spanish press, he’s got one foot out the door by the sounds of it.
KdB out next?
I've got to admit that I was half expecting them to make a move for Kane this summer. I guess the European ban and the impact it would have on their finances makes it less likely now.
Must admit I thought McCabe got the rough end of that “power struggle”...Wow. Wasn't aware Sheffield are owned by the Saudis. Yuck.
Never just "Sheffield" - it's like calling either Manchester team just "Manchester".Wow. Wasn't aware Sheffield are owned by the Saudis. Yuck.
I think they'll make a move this summer but if they haven't got cl either its unlikely he'll be tempted.Nah. United will sign Kane, they’ve been saying that for years.
They should have never left League One.
