And now they're properly in the top four race.

Might as well give up. It's only going to go one way.

"The problem is if you associate with money it takes away credit from the players," Howe said after the game.

"A lot of the players were here anyway. Credit the players for the performance, don't look at how the team was put together."

Piss off Eddie.

Yes they have shed loads of money but the current team has not been built with £50million players.
Big credit to Howe. I remember how well Bournemouth played under Howe. They were also the only team that outran us under Poch. He’s done a great job with players who basically were mostly rejects from other clubs.
shame after Poch we moved away from trying to build a footballing club

This is so true ,no money has been spent ,decent players have been well drilled and an excellent defence with players buying into the team . Achievable for most clubs with a vision on the pitch.

I shouldn't be surprised really but I've still been astounded at how quickly the press has jumped behind them as if they're some sort of plucky underdog etc. ??‍♂️

They've bought well and not for stupid money either. Any suggestion of Eddie Howe coming here was met with a resounding 'fuck that!' and yet he has them playing good football. There's certainly an element of all of their players knowing they can be replaced at the drop of a hat though, and I think that sharpens the focus a fair bit.

It’s the same with Chelsea. They want everyone to feel sorry for them losing and their injuries when really except for them (and their best mates, the scum) everyone else is delighted at their woes.

To be fair, they've got a team which could've been assembled without being owned by a country. Eddie Howe has done a brilliant job with what they already had.

The defence is the biggest surprise, as I had Eddie down as a manager who wasn't too proficient in coaching defence given his time at Bournemouth.

Atsu scored a late 98th min winner for his team yesterday and was celebrated by all...
Now he is in earthquake rubble hoping for a rescue....?
