Will they? I'm not convinced. They were lucky with injuries, and the fixtures won't be as kind this season.

They have a tough start to the season with City, Pool and Brighton coming up in the next few weeks. Then they enter the CL and have to deal with squad rotation and potential fatigue there, a scenario most of their players and their manager is unfamiliar with. If they're up there by Christmas, I'll start to think they can stay the distance.

They exploited a Villa side who had a complete system failure defensively and looked very good in doing so, but one game doesn't mean they're in the title race.

I don't think there will be much of a title race, but their team looks more well rounded and complete than the other would-be challengers. Squad depth might be a problem though

They’re a real high energy team. Could catch up with them with CL and a thin squad. Botman injury didn’t look great as well which will be a big blow if they lose him for an extended period
