This is true but in English football, one thing that is a constant is that the stands will always be close to the pitch and the atmosphere will be felt. When I was watching on tv, I felt like I was watching a pre season friendly in some eastern European country on a one off makeshift football pitch. Everything from the look of the game, to the atmosphere, to the stadium all screamed friendly. The Premier League will suffer a bit until West Ham realize they've fucked up massively and build a football-specific stadium or move back into Boelyn(unless they've already knocked it down) or until West Ham get relegated. West Ham have the money for a football-specific stadium, unlike the other countries where clubs and gov't alike do not.Maybe for me, I come from a country which doesn't a venue that is purpose build for football. All of the stadiums we have for league matches or international matches have a running track. So I am used to being far away even with decent seats. Very few countries have the resources to have arenas built for just one sport.
It's just like a crap hotel room. U paid for it, so after awhile. U will get used to it. And eventually u might even start to feel likes it's home.
