Lyon release Benrahma statement

Lyon have released a statement criticising West Ham for their failure to get the Said Benrahma paperwork done in time.
Read it here.
Google translation of said Lyon statement (emphasis in bold added by me):
Olympique Lyonnais were delighted to welcome Saïd Benrahma to Lyon this Thursday to finalize his transfer from West Ham. The two clubs had signed a temporary transfer agreement, and Olympique Lyonnais had obtained approval from the DNCG to allow the transfer to take place smoothly and transparently.
However, at the start of the evening, while Olympique Lyonnais had entered all the administrative data on the dedicated FIFA platform (FIFA TMS), West Ham had never launched the slightest technical procedure on its part, despite the repeated reminders from the OL and continuous mutual telephone communication.
In the absence of this reciprocal action on the part of the English club and following this incomprehensible behavior, raising questions, the international transfer certificate could not be requested before closing time.
Olympique Lyonnais deeply regrets this situation and this decision, demonstrating a profound lack of respect on the part of West Ham towards the Institution and the player.
The club reserves the right to initiate all appropriate procedures necessary to validate the transaction at a later date, and to hold West Ham responsible if necessary.

Wow, considering how Lyon have acted over the last few seasons with player transfers they’ve got some proper Buster Gonad neck….
They could have had Tanguy back for half that price!🤣

Just Phiilips on loan ? Setting themselves up for a sort out this summer once David "I'm a winner" Moyes goes ?

The Fornals to Betis one is on a knife edge as well, after being held up by a "computer error" on West Ham's end. It was weird seeing him at the ground watching their match last night after he got the "here we go" from Romano hours earlier.

Why would they need a sort out and change in manager? They're currently 6th and still in Europe. They are having a very good season so far.

Got to laugh at them, all time leading goal scorer plus a few others are out of contract in the summer.

2 pissed of players will now stink the place out too.

Think the wheels are starting to fall off. But my West Ham mate wanted Moyes gone long before he won them the cup last year, says the tactics are dreadful and constantly playing players out of position. Dunno who makes the transfer decisions but the squad is such a mess, they don't seem to have any plan whatsoever.

They are such a weird team. Can go and beat a big team but then get absolutely thrashed the next week.
