While they were taking the banners down and drowning out the boos with rock music 2 rows in front of me was sat someone who has served time for football violence and currently subject to a banning order!!. Our club is a joke sometimes.

Yeah, they do, a lot - if it's anything that doesn't suit the story line even it gets yanked.

That said, a historic memory for me, and genuinely awesome moment for the English language and it's eternal game of baffling foreigners in general - William (Steven) Regal was fighting on RAW one Monday night, some smart kid strolls into the middle of the hard-camera's view and hoisted up a sign that said "REGAL IS A WANKER" in massive letters.

WWE (WWF at the time) don't know what wanker means, apparently, and he stood there for the entire duration of the match, must've been a six or seven minute tumble, but i don't remember any of it, i was too busy admiring this kid just standing there with a massive grin on his face. Legend.

Thing is though more and more empty seats are starting to appear and its getting harder to sell your tickets on stub hub. I looked inside the club shop yesterday after the final whistle and it was almost empty. There is a bit of discontent starting to build up and Levy will soon see it filtering through to the cash registers, if he hasn't already. Reckon there might be a board meeting this week to discuss the current situation.

Yep....and Levy will conclude that sack, rinse and repeat will work. Cause, ya know, it's the manager's job and all....

Don't be so sure. How many of the people on the waiting list will actually want to buy a season ticket to watch the current rubbish. I will not be renewing my season ticket next season and I've been a fan for over 60 years and a shareholder for 25. A number of fans seated around me have said the same.

Levy is desperately trying to sell the new stadium's naming rights. The value of these is diminishing by the week. Any major protest against ENIC by the fans and the new stadium's financing is at risk.

The loud music at the end was so cynical.

Why are people talking like this is a majority of fans being silenced because of some dire situation?

If it was more than a handful of fans then there would be more about this but, hours later and only three pages in, it's clearly not a major issue.

Sure, i get it, some of you are 100% convinced that it's Levys fault, for whatever reason, and want to demonstrate that but on the subject of the signs - no-one else holds up signs in stadiums, so to get annoyed when less people than fit around my dining room table want to and get denied, to get all pissed about it is dumb.

On the subject of Levy, would you expect to have any say if you didn't like the way the landlord ran your local pub? Would you expect to hound them out of their job? Have you also considered that no-one wants to buy the club? Or that theres as equally high a possibility that we'll get a Vincent Tan as we would get an Abramovic? I know this is me repeating myself but the only response i had was to compare Levy to Ashley and, whilst there are comparisons, i don't buy that there is much similarity. It's also a no-win situation for him anyway - he's given the fans exactly what they have demanded for some time now, it's not his fault that hindsight kicks in and everyone hits the internet to say they wouldn't have done it that way etc...

First of all, who says no one holds banners up in stadiums?

And whatever you think of the situation, please don't compare football fans to punters in a local pub.

Also, by all means defend Levy, but I don't get your statement that Levy has consistently given the fans what they have demanded. In fact I find it absurd. Did the fans demand to completely dismantle our great team of a few years ago? Did they demand to hire AVB a complete failure in his previous job? Just because some fans on a football forum had a hard on for AVB, I can assure you that the majority of fans were nonplussed by his appointment, just as a lot were by Pochettino's appointment.

Do you really think that persisting with a DOF system and signings by committee are what the fans want?
