Must be a championship loan lined up, which is where I feel he was good enough to go anyway, but he's gained great experience at Port Vale so it's only been good for him.

Most Port Vale fans are gutted, and say they imagine it's a Championship loan. I've only seen one say that he's not good enough for that too, and he's been shot down.

obviously pleased that alfie will be playing higher up but do feel for vale as well. i'm sure they were always aware that this might happen but to put your trust in a young player only to see them recalled halfway through the season is a bit of a kick in the balls. building good relationships with lower league clubs is important, maybe we can send another player their way for the rest of the season.

Agree. Cracking move for Alfie, bit gutted for Vale.

Classy from them. Hope we offer them someone to help them out. Maybe Donley or Dorrington.
Would be a good idea so long as they’ll play, developing a good relationship with clubs and coaches that actually play our loanees would be a step in the right direction.

Yep. Really felt for Scarlett at Ipswich. With an ex-Spurs man in charge I expected him to get more of a crack.

Wasn't Dorrington lined up for Milwall on loan should we get our business done?

Not sure if that was contingent on Dragusin or perhaps Kelly coming in but regardless I think getting valuable experience/game time is needed now in their development.
