So I understand/recall that from the summer all members that became season ticket holders were getting their loyalty points reset.

This never happened to me, I had 300 odd maybe more and this was up to today 400 meaning I could get tickets for any away game and have been to Madrid, Arsenal etc this season.

I then get an automatic message from the club today saying the points will be reset and they are now 50. Great, I was looking forward to more away games and especially the next round of the CL. I called the ticket office who just got defensive saying this was what they said they would do in the summer and to email supporter services with complaints/questions.

They then said that if they wanted they could cancel the away games already bought to which I said "well that would be difficult because the games have already happened and you've already posted me the Watford ticket".

Anyway, I don't/didn't quite understand the rationale behind resetting loyalty points but in any respect this is a pretty unfair way of doing it and as well as ranting, I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

As far as I understand it, season ticket holders still have priority over members no matter how many points they have.

So you will be competing with other season ticket holders, most who are in the same boat as you, apart from people who have held a season ticket longer than you and they will rightly be ahead of you in any queues

Correct me if I'm wrong

That's true. The problem is there are a lot more season ticket holders to go up against this season.

Slightly off topic but ... I understand next year that for season ticket holders the longer you have had a ticket the more priority you will get in choosing your seat. Those of us who joined this year will be at the back of the queue.

Yeah but I think that the cut off for in demand many games is much more than 50.

I wouldn’t have minded if it had been like that all season but it’s a kind of managing expectations and the way the club went about it was wrong. The woman I spoke on the phone was frankly an unapologetic **** and threatened to cancel my Watford tkt.

Anyhoo life goes on was just curious if this had happened to anyone else.
