I'd be happy if Rodriguez was the only player we signed in the window. Another good defender in the Bundesliga is Oliver Sorg imo, who could be like Naughton v 3.0 since he can play at RB and LB.

Even if there were ongoing concerns about Dembele's hip problems, with Sandro and Capoue here adding Gustavo makes no sense, because if we needed to add a mid we would be better adding a more creative one to give us better balance. He looks a good player but there are better ways we can spend around £20 mill imo

Perhaps looking to "do a Mascherano" and play him as a CB? That'd surely be what Barca would do with him too...

I think the guy is a top player but we would need to offload Sandro or Capoue and I just don't see it happening.
Unless the manager wants to sell Sandro its a non story for me.
