Think it starts with Southgate.England have already qualified, while their remaining opponents, Malta and North Macedonia, cannot qualify. If England can't win those games without Maddison, there's something badly wrong with the team.
This is where we need to be a big club and pull him out so he can get consistent focussed physio on his ankle rather than a series of tests by national team medical team
Obviously England don't need him but it's a big blow for him personally as he's trying to get himself into that team ahead of the Euros after years of being on the fringes. Not too many opportunities now given that Southgate likes to use tried and tested playersEngland have already qualified, while their remaining opponents, Malta and North Macedonia, cannot qualify. If England can't win those games without Maddison, there's something badly wrong with the team.
I can't watch his team, so negative is his coaching.I actually can't wait for a new England manager. It's very nice that he got a play made about him, but Southgate is wasting this generation.
