Always looking at the bigger picture.
I think they are definitely challenging.Liverpool have improved from last season, but think many were jumping the gun with them being City's main challengers for this season.
Long way to go in this game still, but Brighton have been vastly superior so far.
I think they are definitely challenging.
Theres an idea to get 90 points you need win all your home matches whilst getting a draw away to top 12 teams and winning the other 7 matches.
Liverpool have been getting the results needed. As have we. As have Arsenal. City have let the ball slip with the last 2 fixtures but they will bounce back
If we sustain this form, it will be a 4 horse race
These are what happens when virgins get carried away.what are these?

Our success depends on keeping players fit, our squad is thinYes they'll be in the conversation, hopefully we will be to.
Genuinely think had KDB not been injured long term they'd of run away with it.
Ah, the old Cruyff turn…I think I turned it into Cruyff Brian Cruyff the famous Nottingham Forest Total football manager right
I was presuming 1st meant least yellow cards?
His Cv shows he has won at every club he has coached! Quite mad reallyAnge was on the list on the very first post of last years Next Manager watch list. He was destined for a EPL job but wasnt sure the fanbase would have been happy with his CV but nonetheless, he was in the very first post. I am happy to receive lots of internet points for this.
I was happy with Slot as well but I knew that Ange had done way more than 'just' win the league with Celtic. For the record I also thought Mourinho and Conte were going to be terrible appointments. We are a project club and I felt that when we had the stadium revenue we should do it with money this time, not a win now manager.Just for a bit of fun…
38 people agreed with this at the time and 3 of us disagreed…
Well done @funkycoldmedina @DiVaio for seeing the future under Ange with me and not being a sheep
I can guarantee a good % of those 38 will have barely heard of or watched Ange’s teams.
But hey it’s a game of opinions
Isn’t it and everyone knows what they’re taking about and don’t make comments or ratings based on emotion and a lack of knowledge

They don't do apologises just criticisms. How deep must the level of embarrassment is for those naysayers on Twitter who started the "No to Postecoglou- We Deserve Better" campaign? Imagine using that particular slogan and then the "loser" you condemned leads Tottenham Hotspur to it's best start since 1960! I wonder if any of them broken cover and apologised.
It wasn't me this time but personally I think it's poor form to pick someone's comment out and call them on it without their permission when they were simply expressing an opinion in a moment of time. I enjoy it when people call themselves out if they choose to do so but that is completely different. It is a messageboard full of opinions and when all is said and done we all make them. Nobody needs to be potentially embarrassed because they stuck their head over the parapet. In every match thread there are people saying we are going to win easily or get battered and everything in between. It is a sea of wrong opinions and there's nothing wrong with that! If we feel like we can only talk about what "is" for fear of being called out, SC would be a far less interesting place to hang out.Yep i was wrong. Happens.
Nope, though if you Google it, it says 27 yellows. No idea which is right.I was presuming 1st meant least yellow cards?
Expected assists and expected assisted goals share the same criteria for the pass (type of the pass, the location on the pitch, the phase of play, and the distance covered) with the difference being what happens after the pass.I kind of get Xg. But it’s something that only works with a very large sample size. So during games it doesn’t mean much, but over the course of 7 or 8, fine it shows a trend. But expected assists, expected assisted goals…what’s the difference.
The stats you posted definitely show a positive trend though. It’s astonishing how we’ve turned around from last season.
Glad we have cleared that upExpected assists and expected assisted goals share the same criteria for the pass (type of the pass, the location on the pitch, the phase of play, and the distance covered) with the difference being what happens after the pass.
Expected assists doesn't require a shot to happen after the pass for the value to be associated with it.
Expected assisted goals does require a shot to happen after the pass for the value to be associated with it.
e.g if a player makes a pass that is considered to be 0.3 xA (type of the pass, the location on the pitch, the phase of play, and the distance covered etc) but the recipient chooses to pass instead of shoot, the Stats will show 0.3 for xA but 0 for xAG for that pass.
That is according to Reddit anyway.
