Someone mentioned something similar in the "next manager" thread... you have to be impressed with his career path considering where and how he started out.

High profile ex-players from Europe have a huge advantage going into management. Lampard and Gerrard both got solid jobs and walked into big teams in their second or third clubs.

At 57 Postecoglou has made it to where I imagine he always dreamed - maybe not Spurs, but the Prem. He's come up the hard way and he's gonna no doubt give it absolutely everything. He's worked in different leagues and different cultures around the world for years, if not at the highest level. That has to be a huge advantage.

I'm glad I don't have to listen to another manager talk about the club and fans like he's doing us a fucking favour.

|'m really happy and excited to see a manager I think i'll like on a personal level, and one who will play some actual proper football. Hopefully no more sitting back after score waiting to concede. Christ.
