Got his subs bang on today. Killed the game at the end (in a good way).

When he came in I thought we would play decent football but concede plenty, especially in the early part of the season, but we look more stong defensively than we have for years.

Best ever start to a premier league season and if those 2 chances fell to anyone else this game was over after 10 minutes.

Seem to be saying it every week but this guy is unbelievable.

We were in the trenches when he joined us and instead of slowly digging us out, Ange just chucked down a ladder and said hop on board.

His subs are always spot on. I thought we were struggling, until he brought on skipp and royal. He stopped their wing play.

It helps that we don't just let our opponents have the ball anymore

To echo the post above, across the PL, U21, & U18 our record is
P: 20. W: 17. D: 2. L: 1
Felt like only a couple of months ago that the whole club was in disarray.

Will that be a record if we actually manage to win the title in all the three leagues?

Ange said I can dream...

For grins and giggles, i just went back into the "Next Manager Watch" as well as a few other threads to see the evolution of emotions regarding Big Ange. Two things stood out.

As someone who was initially on the Julian Nagelsmann train and had to switch to the Ange train at 200 km/hr, it's a great reminder how hard it is to predict the future. IN fact, it's just another reason to to maintain a level headeness about anything that is Spurs whether it is a game or personnel, etc. Second, some of the commentary is pure gold in terms of insight, predictions or good ole plain comedy.

I as in the ‘we are fucked, mid table at best’ camp.

Yep. To say I was doubtful would be underplaying it. Seemed like the club had to settle for someone they didn't want themselves.

Maybe that's true but considering BMJ and Harry were both managers forced on them and their previous "top candidates" have been rather underwhelming in general maybe them not having him at the top of the tree was no bad thing.

Anyways, I was happy to give him a chance and forget all about the Contes of the world.

Of course, I'm head over heels in love with the fella now. I'd donate bone marrow if he needed it.
