I dont think we will but if we were to win the title that would make Conte a very very silly man.

Not necessarily, that’s like saying Conte winning 13 titles before us makes us look like a very very silly club. You can’t compare past and future achievements to one another. It simply doesn’t work that way.

Comparing Ange and Conte, past and present is completely irrelevant if their circumstances aren’t identical, which they aren’t. We should move on from the last 4 years in general and focus on what’s happening now.

I couldn’t be happier at the minute, and the only thing I wish is that we had a manager like Ange from the minute we knew we were letting Poch go. This is what a good fit for our club looks like, and I’m sure Antonio will find a club that’s a good fit for him too. We weren’t that club.

Thank you Ange. Still getting disrespected by people with comments like this from this article https://www.football365.com/news/op...-postecoglou-but-i-do-not-arsenal-rangers-fan

So the brown-nosing currently taking place for a club unbeaten in the Premier League having been handed a fairly easy opening 10 games is annoying. But that’s the Big Ange hype train, not the man himself.

Handed a fairly easy opening 10 games my arse! Games are only as difficult or as easy as you make them. Last season from January to May we played 18 games and picked up just one more point than we have now and some of the teams we dropped points against are not exactly luminaries.

  1. A Fulham W 1-0 3 Points (23 January 2023)
  2. H Man C W 1-0 6
  3. A Leicester L 1-4 6
  4. H W Ham W 2-0 9
  5. H Chelsea W 2-0 12
  6. A Wolves L 0-1 12
  7. H Forest W 3-1 15
  8. A Southampton D 3-3 16
  9. A Everton D 1-1 17
  10. H Brighton W 2-1 20
  11. H Bournemouth L 2-3 20
  12. A Newcastle L 1-6 20
  13. H Man U D 2-2 21
  14. A Liverpool L 3-4 21
  15. H Palace W 1-0 24
  16. A Villa L 1-2 24
  17. H Brentford L 1-3 24
  18. A Leeds W 4-1 27 Points (28 May 2023)
The above was a team with a world class striker playing in each and every one of those games. There are no easy games, it's about turning up and playing properly to turn them in your favour. What Ange has done is incredible and it is just the start.

Interesting snippet from todays David hyter article, guessing it refers to raya?

The Guardian understands that Spurs passed on a player in a specific position this summer after getting the impression he was more driven by getting away from his old club. They signed someone else who Postecoglou could tell was desperate to join. He spoke to all of the new boys, approving the deals only when he got that feeling.

How he has got the team together so quickly is extraordinary.

Vicario is a young keeper and has settled in and been superb from the beginning. Compare this to Raya who is around his prime and has Prem experience and Onana.

VDV is a young centre back, and has settled in really quickly forming a great partnership with Romero. Romero reportedly hated Conte but is already looking like a captain.

Udogie and Sarr have come in after loan spells and look settled straight away and appear to know exactly what Ange wants from them.

Porro was being questioned defensively but he is being utilised to his strengths.

It’s crazy how much he has got working in such a short space of time.
