Ange has a record of not staying more than 3 or 4 years wherever he has been , what we are going to do when he does eventually leave I have no idea , his press conferences are just on a different level to any manager that we have had for years.
He has a record of moving on once he feels he's reached a club's ceiling. I'm not sure we have one.

Yes I am enjoying but I fear after his four year contract it might be back to Oz. Just compare his media interviews with Conte, Mourhino and even Poch , Ange is the medias darling at the moment.
Even if he does stay the entirety of the contract and leaves after, that's FOUR YEARS of worrying?! Too much stress for something out of your control.

Against the recommendations I watched it at work, that's done me. What a guy Ange is, this small gesture will mean a lot. It's a tough one for the little lad, my sister had the same diagnosis in her childhood and any support was immense.

Interesting comments from Ange on the Academy. He is not wrong, but I suspect some will object to his characterization.

What did he say?

"I think we've got a lot of work to do in our academy and [academy director] Simon Davies is certainly one that is putting a lot of emphasis and priority there," he said.

"I don't think we have the production line other top clubs have, certainly not. Even currently that’s why we’re investing in some younger players, even for the first team. For us as a football club that's definitely the way forward.

"My brief at the moment is still very much around the first team and building a first team and you can do that while giving opportunities to young players. If anything I think for sustainable success it's the best way to go because the team grows together when it's guys of similar ages as long as you've got good experience around them.

"That's what we're doing at first-team level. We've still got a lot of work to do at academy level. We've got a great man there in Simon who has worked at some of best academies going and he knows what’s needed. We've got some good coaches in there now.

"This year has been better but in terms of a production line of young players I think we’re still well behind other clubs.

"If young players don't feel there is an opportunity here maybe we don't get the best ones or maybe we don't provide the opportunities for the best ones, so my role in that is to make sure the good ones we have do get an opportunity.

Just watched the video. We have such a good family vibe at the club. Ange is perfect for that and then Richy and Emerson in the car park. I love it.

Absolutely lovely that. What a brave lad and what a lovely person Ange seems.

Also, that's the most eye contact I've seen Ange give when being interviewed!
We are getting a great side of proper good people together. Lead by the Ange.
Heartwarming stuff.

People worried about how long Ange will be here, we havnt had a manager start and finish the same season since 2018/19 season so let's just get through to may with him first.
If get 4 years of him that means we've been successful and at that stage he'll be early 60's so maybe will want to head home. Let's just enjoy the great atmosphere at the minute and not look too far ahead or for issues that may never arise

My heart. Love Ange, you just know he’s a top human being first and foremost, and this outreach with Freddie and his family is so good for the soul of football, like JD and Bradley. It’s more than the game. What a young man. I hope he gets to see us win lots of Premier League titles.

He has reached the pinnacle of football now though. If we are achieving things with him he won't have reason to go anywhere.

The only move he could make would be to City, United or Liverpool but if we are beating them and winning, there is almost zero chance he leaves us for them. Especially if everything is running well.

The way he speaks, the way he coaches and manages things. The way players talk about him, he genunely could be our Klopp, which means a 8-10 year stay.

Can't see him at Madrid or Barcelone either. Maybe Bayern
Yep. Agree.
I can see Ange retiring after Spurs.

I watched that Freddie video and realised I was smiling all the way through it. Good on you Freddie.

The coaching team has been inept at fucking corners, its insane

We have ALL 11 players in the box, so we always concede the corner and then the pressure when we clear it

To make matters worse, we leave Vicario 1vs1 where he can't fairly take on the defender as he has to stay in goal leaving our GK trapped 1 vs 1.

Shay Given was saying on motd after city, the goalkeeper has to put a player in between their attacker and goalkeeper to give a barrier but this way of defending is bad

So frustrating that we have 11 players in the box and not one is near the fucking goalkeeper FFS and this has been happening non stop since the city match
