Our defensive set pieces are terrible, press is non existent, building from the back not a patch on earlier in the season, up top looking lacklustre. And not just today.

It was a good start, but your in the big leagues now Ange. Time to go to work.

I'm a hipster ball has been found out. Its one dimensional - side to side and hope a tap in happens at the far post.

We also play a ridiculously high line and have no defensive structure at all - relying on the athleticism of players.

Its no wonder no other club took a punt on him.

It may work in inferior leagues where you are top dogs and have the best players but not in the premier league. found out twice by gary oneil and one has to say not unfairly but by a squad with much more inferior players.

Can't we stop playing 2/5/3 majority of the game?

Half the time I only see two central defenders and consistently fullback running back from their 8/10 positions to cover , no wonder we constantly gift our opponents space , chances and goals.

If it continues like this, he won't last that long. This is clearly not the way to play.

he will have had just about 40 games this season so pretty much alot of spare time to train and we still dont have a plan b.

I think Wolves have showed the limitations of his system right now. We lack control of the middle of the park as it is too congested which suits teams sitting deep. There are loads of teams that play with a low block but what makes Wolves different is they actually have the attacking players who can keep the ball, dribble and create. This is not a team that just tries to counter through pace alone. We have pace at the back to handle a foot race. A team like Wolves can attack only a few times but each time is meaningful. We on the other hand frequently get into the last third but get crowded out.

Yeah I'm not worried about Ange or anything like that, but regardless of how much our attack improves, the approach to defending has to change IMO.

The first thing has to be to show willingness to improve in that department. It's just way too easy for teams to get into threatening areas against us.

It’s early days but this is definitely Ange’s worst day as Spurs manager. We have seen that his system can work for us, and I believe in him and his approach. But ever since that Chelsea game we’ve performed well in patches only, and we’ve shown no ability to use our momentum to finish teams off. He’ll have pretty much a full squad now and only Ieague games to focus on. If he wasn’t feeling the pressure of managing in the PL before, he will be now.

Ha ha no probably not. Always the same playbook. The ones who never wanted (insert name) coach crawl out of the woodwork or people who play football manager and just can't understand how it doesn't work the same in real life.

I'd like to think I'm pretty level headed. At the start of the season it felt really good but I wonder if that was because I was so fed up of the negative Conte style, that seeing us play more front foot was just such a relief.

With the undelapping full backs playing really high possession, again this felt new and exciting.

However, we've absolutely been found out and are far too easy to attack. It's naïve. There has to be a balance and that's my biggest concern - there's no balance in how we play. Our attacks seem more hopeful than following any structure. I'm all for fluid but we're all over the shop both in and out of possession.

We just seem like a high line and throw men forward team. This isn't Scotland, Australia or Japan and I don't think you can get away with it in the premier league.

The lack of any other plan is a bit worrying. This isn't knee jerking, just my opinion as I see it currently.

We have been coached really well in terms of our attacking play and you can see that we are 2 wide forwards away from being very threatening. However, I am very worried about our defensive shape and coaching. We look awful defensively.

Our attacking play has only looked good because we essentially attack with 8 players and overwhelm teams.

That worked at the beginning of the season but now every single game is the same. Sit back in a compact back 5 and hoof the ball over the top and hope the quickest player beats our half way line defensive line. We’ve been worked out.

Won't really know how it's shaking out until Christmas.

Unless things are going catastrophically (Nuno), you should really give a manager 18 months to implement their ideas.

If we look worse by Christmas than we do now, then you start thinking about making a change.

First season is always a bedding in period for a player or manager.

It's the first half of next season that truly matters.

We conceded two goals due to set pieces today (an inability to defend a corner and then failing to win any tackles from ours). How's that the high lines fault?

There's obvious issues but I think people are just grasping for something to blame, when I really don't think it's the case.

Man for man, one on one, we lost most of our duels today

our players just couldn’t beat their opponent

and our passing was poor

Hard to tell how much of it was down to tactics and our set up and how much of it was down to performance of the players

Gets a pass this season for all the injuries and positives weve seen. Need to give him time to get the right squad.

A few of this squad aren't up to it and we've got a lot of players that coming back from injury that need time to get again

It's like City in Peps first season or Liverpool under Klopp. Chill. Lots of work to be done still but it was always the case. A transitional season plays out like this one. I'm down as well but that's just love for the game.
