I don't think it's so much not being given what he wants as much as it's being given players he doesn't want. I think this is the same for most managers and was Conte's biggest frustration also. Wanting player A because "he is experienced and is a perfect fit for my system" and getting player B because, well, "we have it on good authority from his agent we can get him for a cut down price and he's nailed on to be worth a gazillion pounds one day".Could that be fairly summed up as if he does not get what he wants he would not want to be here?
