Time to have a conversation about the signings he made in the summer. Emerson is useless, Gil is a talent but is clearly not ready for the English game, Gollini is dreadful. Romero was a good signing, but we didn’t sign a striker, somethjng we really needed to do.

He’s not the problem he had a lot of holes to fix in this squad I’ll judge him in two or three windows

Gil has looked promising in very limited minutes, I'd say. And Emerson is clearly not useless. He's been patchy but I imagine he's also pretty tired atm - we need to offload Doherty and get in another RWB so we can rotate better.

Top 4 is definitely achievable but there's only so much Conte can get out of this crop of players, especially when he seems to have decided who he can trust and who he can't and doesn't intend to use those he doesn't rate.

Two or three quality signings this window could go a long, long way. Need to bite the bullet because if we make top 4 then that'll pay the signings off anyway.

I still like the signings he’s made, bar probably Gollini. Every player he signed has a ton of potential, so to make a final judgment at this point is pretty dumb. Emerson’s end product has been bad but he’s done everything else pretty well. Romero is still super young and basically already incredible. Sarr/Gil are very young but are considered to be top youth talents.

I agree with others the time is now to get instant contributors, though. Vlahovic, LCB, And a RWB would be phenomenal and much-needed additions. I’m sure Paratici has his marching orders, so it’s time to deliver the goods.

Agree, people being way too harsh, first season playing outside of Spain, only 20, two managers and had a few injuries. What do people expect. Wish we still had Lamela but I’m very happy with Gils signing

They have. I cannot see a situation where Conte has not spoken with Paratici about signings for January. With the number of quality players who have 6 months remaining on their contracts, I"m sure a lot of leg work has gone into finding the right players for Conte.

He’s not been very effective tbh there are other 20 year olds doing much more BUT he does look to have some talent and is very raw so certainly one to be patient with.

Anyone got an update on the investigations into Juve and FP as that’s all gone a bit quiet but worried he’ll suddenly get convicted and will get a transfer ban etc so pleased with the set-up right now with FP with full control and AC evaluating the squad but also worried about the investigations hanging over FP.

It’s really too bad Youcef Atal is so injury prone - he’d be absolutely perfect at RWB in this system.
