Lloris - 7 - Little to do other than the one on one save with Richarlison which he handled well.
Emerson - 7 - Stopped being effective offensively when the team tired second half. Defended pretty well.
Romero - 7 - Some very strong tackles.
Dier - 8 - Consistently good throughout.
Davies - 6 - Alsways seemed off the pace in possession and took too long on the ball, especially first half.
Reguillon - 5 - Very poor going forwards.
Skipp - 8 - Thought he played very well today.
Højbjerg - 7 - Lacking on the ball offensively. Some timely interceptions and tackles though.
Moura - 6 - The best of our attacking players and surprised he was hooked first his pace was our only obvious weapon.
Kane - 4 - Worst I have seen him play. He is bang out of form. Very surprised he was not subbed off and he should have been.
Son - 6 - Worked hard but very little quality.

Ndonbele - 6 - Stupid yellow card
Lo Celso - 7 - Fabulous shot. Pathetic corner.
Doherty - 7 - Couple of nice crosses.

Conte - 7 - He obviously has got the players prepared to fight. Surprised he went with an unchanged team and then left subs so long as the players were dead on their feet after the first half.

Reguilon had an absolute shocker. Was dreadful. Kane and Lucas also really poor, both cost us several good chances through sheer carelessness on the ball.

On the positive side, Emerson and Skipp were okay, whilst the back three were fairly solid defensively even if their contribution to build-up play was basically non-existent.

I don't think anyone stood out.

Kane, Son, Moura and Reguilon 6
Everyone else 7

Know the front three are getting criticised but Lucas and Kane have to drop far to deep to disrupt the lines of Everton otherwise it’s all in front and we’d go nowhere. A lot of the time there having to travel two thirds of the pitch to even try and work a chance. We need at least a couple of players deep who can either travel with the ball and take players out of the game or someone who can play vertically through the lines and get the front three in better situations.

A couple of big takeaways for me:

- Conte didn’t want to lose that, more than he wanted to win (and risk losing). Subbing off Lucas & Son for Lo Celso & Ndombele - rather than, say, Hojbjerg - showed as much. It’s understandable that that’s a top priority as he gets to grips with the squad.

- For that reason though, don’t be surprised if Winks - rather than GLC or Tanguy - takes Skipp’s place v Leeds.

- Our wing-backs need to do lots of finishing practice; they will get a decent share of our chances with this system.

Goals from wing backs are key. Look at Chelsea over the last month Chilwell and James have chipped in and Alonso is usually threat.

I just don't see goals in either of our wing backs. The only player that does have goals in him is Sessegnon but then that would require him to be fit.

Not really any stand outs, maybe Skipp was best. Emerson good defensively, not so much going forward. Davies played well for being Davies. Dier ok too. Everton didnt really create anything.

The only one who was way off the play in my opinion was Kane. Everyone else put in a shift. We would have lost that game under Nuno. Emerson was my MOTM

Its a no contest for MOTM today, hands down SKIPPY!!!!

Absolutely truly accomplished performance today, he was everywhere, breaking up play, winning balls, moving the game forward, skippy is not a boy anymore, he became a man today (maybe)... he was immense for me, Im sure Conte is loves him already.

A battling, commited performance, with no quality in the final 3rd. Patience is needed. It will come.

Skipp MotM.

How can you Moura and Son be 2 points higher than Kane? Both of the were equally as bad. Kane at least did some good things. Don't remember Son or Moura doing anything good of note.

Both worked twice as hard as Kane. Kane messed up more also. None of them were any good.

I voted for Emerson by a short head from Skipp. Royal's improved massively recently, & is always in the thick of the action.

Overall, I can see the green shoots of improvement all round, more or less. COYS.
