Good to hear fee agreed/alomst agreed but easy guys, I wouldn't expect announcement till next week. He is on holidays, he has to finish medical and you have to give at least another two weeks for our media guys to create those super cool introduction videos!
We have the Watford game on the 5th so i'd imagine Jose won't be too happy if we're still farting around announcing it by that point. I'm gonna say it'll be on the OS by Wednesday and straight into the team for the game.

We badly needed to add a RB and CDM to improve the starting xi before the season started and appear to have done that. Massive credit to the club.

Now we can take bit more time to make sure we get the depth signings right.

Msg I've just received is everything agreed in principle with both club and player.

Until it's signed off and medical completed I wouldn't call it done.

Been there before.

A good signing with considerable PL experience and previous full-backs who represented Ireland served Spurs well - Joe Kinnear, Chris Hughton and Stephen Carr.

Great signing, one of the best players in his position in the league for 15m AND counts as HG. Not done yet but with Jose/Mendes friendship this should be pretty safe.

All in all, Jose went for talent that has Prem experience which feels like something we haven’t done as a tactic in quite some time -
maybe since the Redknapp or Jol days? I think it reasonable business if it’s the 15m.

I wonder if this was the preferred FB - simply because it doesn’t seem like Levy’s preferred business is a player in his prime due to future sell on value. I guess I’m kinda surprised Castagne has either another preferred destination or isn’t the player.

I’m all in for change.

Yup this is all v Harry Redknapp style business. Roung pegs for round holes, prem experience and good solid characters.

Coleman is captain and plays RB so he has hardly any chances to play

Even so, no caps before 2018 seems odd,not even as a sub.
Coleman was badly injured in March 2017. Doherty got his first cap a whole year later coming on as a sub for fit again Coleman . Did Ireland not have a game for a whole year. Love him as a player but is he a late developer?

Well Wolves didn’t make it to the PL until 2018 so I’m sure he was bit off the radar. He’s also definitely a late bloomer.

I wouldn't trust Jim White to tell me the correct time of day.

Jim White once announced live on Sky Sports News that Andy Murray's new coach was his doubles partner Ross Hutchings, after Hutchings had tweeted it out of his Twitter account. There was several minutes of superficial analysis and lots of "amazings" before an embarrassed retraction.

It was April Fools' Day.
