He's obviously better going forward than defending, BUT ON THE RIGHT. I'd rather Lamela playing LWB. His starting position tonight was a joke.
Didn't get much better 2nd half when he had to defend. But none of em were tbh.

That's a really low bar. He's terrible going forward. He actually looks drunk or something. Everything is so slow.

I dont know what it is, lack of confidence, suffering from long covid affecting him, unhappy playing in the system we use... whatever it is, he's been really poor. Very lacklustre displays, failing at even the simple things, lacks aggression. I think Aurier went off injured because there is no way Doherty should have stayed on

Doherty set up a chance for Liverpool within 10 seconds of the second half starting. Amazing really

Actually the number of times he lost the ball or passed to a lfc player must be a PL record. There is not one positive aspect to any of his performances. Trippier at least had his good games now and then.

I didn't really see him or notice him at wolves so I was indifferent about the signing. But only based on this season, he is absolutely atrocious.

I mean it isn't positional but the basic skills... His passing is terrible, I've not really seen him take many on, not even seen him cross many. Now I can argue and say that Jose's tactics are stifling him but then shouldn't we have got someone who wasn't going to be stifled. I hear about reggie being the cause for doherty being shite but my word he is shite.

17 times he lost possession! Shouldn’t even be a professional footballer!

Looks way out of his depth, the amount of times he passed to Liverpool if he had a red shirt you would have said he had a good match.
