He’s been like this since the CL final.Poch looks an absolute shadow of the manager he was. No spark at all.
Poch was top quality. I think the jury is out on whether he still is, and certainly on whether he has what it takes to manage a ‘superclub’ expected to actually win things. It’s easy to trot out this sort of narrative given the current situations at both clubs. Both the managers are top quality and Poch will likely improve Chelsea. I’m pleased to have Postacoglu though and not bothered that we don’t have Poch
Genuinely looks devastated to be at that shit hole.Poch looks an absolute shadow of the manager he was. No spark at all.
I thought that about Potter too...Think he’ll be given a year to mold the squad. So many incomings and I can’t see boehly giving up quickly. All depends on his relationship with Poch though. But Boehly was patient with the Dodgers.
He wasn’t patient with Tuchel, and he wasn’t patient with Potter.Think he’ll be given a year to mold the squad. So many incomings and I can’t see boehly giving up quickly. All depends on his relationship with Poch though. But Boehly was patient with the Dodgers.
Since the January before the CL final. At leastHe’s been like this since the CL final.
Boehly's just the public face of Chelsea. The real power is in hands of Behdad Eghbali, effective owner of Clearlake Capital. It's believed to be Eghbali rather than Boehly who sacked Tuchel and Potter and who's no doubt marking Pochettino's card.I thought that about Potter too...

Always said that he's a lot like his mentor Biesla. His strength is projects where he builds young squads, galvanises team spirit and lifts them to new heights. Like he did with Espanyol, Southampton and us.Chelsea is just the wrong place for him surely? I was surprised he went there after his torrid time at PSG. He needs somewhere that is a real project, not huge turnover of players and 30 man squads.
I understand and kind of agree with some that he’s not the breath of fresh air manager that he was in 2015 any more, and that football has moved on around him while he’s kind of stood still, but he’s not shit. He’s better than this dross surely?
