I wonder if this would open the door to Lo Celso and even NDombele returning? ?

That would be hilarious and sum us up as a football club. He'll probably try and get Dele back from Everton. Levy loves a cheap deal :)

As much as it would be a plaster over a gaping wound I'm going to be really emotional when the great man returns.

I saw this last night and I was tearing up..

I just hope he can overcome everything and succeed.

My favourite Spurs manager ever

Probably the right move at the moment, but it won't matter unless the owners change their way as well - and we still need to invest seriously in the squad.
New direction again so Doherty, Davies, Dier, Sessegnon all definitely have to go.

Never go back, it’ll end up in tears and tarnish the affection he has with the supporters.
Totally different landscape.

When he came in we were way off challenging, didn't have the stadium so not much pressure and a lot of teams didn't play high press/high intensity football.

We also had a nucleus of young players ready to burst through.

A perfect storm.

It's very different today.

Most teams play high intensity press but also have better tactics than Poch had. We don't have a young squad or young players bursting through. There is huge pressure and expectation.

If he comes back then I will be so pissed off, because it will just prove that we were fucking foolish to get rid of him in the first place and we could have already gone through his painful rebuild, instead of doing our usual bullshit of shitting the bed everytime we hit a rough patch. He'd earned the trust and backing from us and enic to oversee that rebuild, but no... got to think of those share prices and the Amazon Prime entertainment value, so Jose it was.

We're run so fucking stupidly sometimes.

Timing. We didn't have money to support him initially, we had to provide record profit to get our current loan deal for the stadium, without it we'd be 1b down on short term debt when Covid hit. Then Poch totally lost it mentally, and there was no other way than to sack him - we were in relegation form. If Poch return it needs to be a fresh start, with both him and Levy having learned from their experiences.

If he came back now it would be to a shit squad and in his final year with us he had a shit squad and it wasn't good. I'd love to have him back one day but not to this shit team, he isn't a miracle worker, it would end in tears very quickly.

Don't get me started on the new stadium.

The man got us a CL final. Form be damned, he'd earned the right to rebuild.
