Of course it’ll hurt seeing him manage Chelsea…and the first time we play them will be weird. But the thing I’m most afraid of is that he might actually give Chelsea a long term direction and style of play that we yearn for. That will hurt the most. And the most damaging thing for Spurs is that Chelsea will be (no doubt) a major threat now for top honours and top 4 for the next few years. Making our mission even harder. We HAVE to get the right next manager or we will be left years behind.
Hate to break it to you but we are already years behind

no, he's even better with a ton of experience both in our league and managing a very difficult club in PSG. He's in his managerial prime and he's just gone to our rivals because we didn't want him as we want someone who gave us the feeling and club he gave us
He was sacked by PSG after having the lowest win rations since 2013. He replaced Tuchel, and was replaced by Galthier, who both had better records than him. Its quite clear he failed to maximise the quality at his disposal and the fans were very happy to see him go.

Football is emotion, football is love, football also is about fit. If Nagelsmann doesn’t agree immediately then get on the blower, this club is a fucking disaster, give the fans something to love. If we ain’t winning nothing then let’s enjoy football again. Poch can bring that.

We can have any manager we like but if we don’t improve creativity and our defence not to mention replacing Kane we are screwed

I don't feel upset at all and I've always felt a huge emotional connection with him.

In a way im happy because he has destroyed this connection and showed himself to be just another ex manager who had a little bit of success.

Yeah we can blame the board but they didn't make him choose one of our two biggest rivals. He did that all by himself.

I know there was lots that went on behind the scenes last time he was here, that seems to be the reason we’ve not gone for him, but I think we’re going to massively regret this. Hope I’m wrong.
I think you are and it will be Poch who will regret taking over at Chelsea. His bank account won't regret it of course.

You got to take player quality at their disposal into consideration.

The quality of player at the chavs puts our lot into a corner. It's like us and QPR.

I'm a bit torn about his decision to move there. On the one hand, it feels like a line he shouldn't cross. But on the other, we're the ones who made that line so porous. I mean, we literally sacked him to appoint Chelsea's most successful manager ever, and most of us were very happy about it at the time.

It seems a bit weird to celebrate him being replaced by a Chelsea hero and then take issue with him moving to Chelsea several years later. I guess that's the nature of football, though.

Of all the many valid criticisms of Levy, I find it amusing that 'allowing' Poch to go to Chelsea is seemingly the straw that breaks the camels back for some fans.

Move on guys, we've got much bigger problems than getting upset at Poch in a Chelsea tracksuit.

what do you think Poch did at PSG?
Where have I denied he won the league?
But He was also the only manager in recent seasons to fail to win the league (albeit he only had half a season in charge that year).
What I clearly said was he was their worst recent manager in terms of winning matches and the fans were pleased to see him go.

If Poch came out and rejected Chelsea and said I only want to manage Tottenham the atmosphere on Thursday would have him installed by Friday without question.

God there are some pathetic people commenting on here about good riddance to Poch etc . No time for him now etc . For crying out loud get a grip . Daniel Levy is the reason he’s not coming here . He clearly wants to and would be welcomed by most fans . You can’t blame him for being disloyal when our chairman won’t budge . What do you expect him to do remain unemployed in protest . I for one don’t blame him at all for taking the role . Whether he is a fit for Chelsea in my mind he isn’t at all . He would be a long term appointment bringing younger players on . He will clearly likely be gone from Chelsea within a year with a big pay off.

Daniel Levy may be the reason he is not coming here.

But he is not the reason he is going to Chelsea, that is his choice and his alone, he's shitting on us.
