God there are some pathetic people commenting on here about good riddance to Poch etc . No time for him now etc . For crying out loud get a grip . Daniel Levy is the reason he’s not coming here . He clearly wants to and would be welcomed by most fans . You can’t blame him for being disloyal when our chairman won’t budge . What do you expect him to do remain unemployed in protest . I for one don’t blame him at all for taking the role . Whether he is a fit for Chelsea in my mind he isn’t at all . He would be a long term appointment bringing younger players on . He will clearly likely be gone from Chelsea within a year with a big pay off.
I support Tottenham not Poch or levy.

If you choose to go to Chelsea or arsenal you aren't spurs . Both the board and him can do one.

Not sure why people think Poch is disrespecting us if he joins Chelsea. It is a job; any of you fuckers would join another organisation if you were unemployed!

The reason Poch is not returning is squarely down to Levy. Whether that be for internal reasons, etc., appointing Poch right now would be an own goal for the likes of Levy as Poch would have so much leverage over Levy, and for someone who believes they are the messiah and a control freak, that sort of situation is unthinkable.

I agree. A job is a job. The only caveat to this is Poch has said he’d never manage Barca because of his connections with Espanyol. Given he loves and wants to manage us again one day, odd he’d think about managing Chelsea.

Maybe managing allegiances are different to playing allegiances in his head. Or he’s there 18mo to work but also get a shit load of money in the other London footballing circus.

Given how many ex-Chelsea managers we have had recently, I'm not sure why he would ever think he wouldn't return to Tottenham again if he took up the job at Chelsea.

If we wanted Poch back, he'd be here by now. We don't, so he isn't. He's out of work, we need a manager. He's not been given the job so we are not interested. Simple as that.

I am not seeing the problem with the Chelsea -> Tottenham movement. Not sure why we should be worried going the other way.

If Pochettino chose Chelsea over Spurs, then, sure, that might be a kick in the teeth. But, by all accounts, Spurs don't want Poch, so what is he supposed to do? Just sit at home waiting for levy to call?

I see it now, its Thursday evening.

Poch is at Stamford bridge he has the contract on the table, he stalls as he is about to sign it...

Meanwhile over at NWHL the fans are in full chorus of chants for Poch, its so loud the sound travels down to stamford bridge. Poch stops, drops his pen to the floor and rips off his polo neck, revealing his THFC home shirt. Im Spurs and you know i am he shouts as he rips up the contract and strides outside the room.

Meanwhile the crowd has turned against Levy, we want Levy out are the cries, with nowhere to turn, levy takes out his phone, whatsapps Poch and offers him the job.
This isn’t as dramatic as I was hoping for at the start of the post tbh. I was hoping for Poch to fly in and land on top of the stadium with his Spurs parachute, land on the dare skywalk and abseil down with a megaphone shouting the words “Fuck Chelsea! Give old Pochy bear a cuddle you beautiful bastards!” run onto the pitch, two foot Eriksen and spit on him for playing for anyone but his darling Spurs, then run to the dugout naked and steal Ryan Mason’s match day suit and see out the game as manager with his beautiful belly sticking out of a suit that doesn’t fit him with his COYS cap on with tears in his eyes

Just think, he’ll be at the dugout for every home game, which proceeds that 💩 anti Tottenham chant 🤦🏼‍♀️

The worst thing is he's going to hear all that and then attempt to gaslight us into saying we aren’t rivals and don’t absolutely despise them an them us.

Good luck to Poch. I hope he's a success at Chelsea. I wish he was coming here, but I suspect Levy simply can't bear to face up to his own mistakes. Poch gave his all at Spurs and I'm sure he'll do the same for Chelsea. He deserves to succeed. I still hope he comes back to Spurs one day though. In the meantime Nagelsmann is the one I'd like to see here but I seriously doubt he'll want to take the risk.

Fuck all that. Hope he fails miserably.

It really wouldn't.

To be fair, the one microscopic piece of credit I give Levy during this shambles is he has seemingly stuck to his guns and not turned to Poch when things have got tough and some fans have called for him.

I've nothing against Poch but I can't fathom why any Spurs fan would want Chelsea to have success under any manager.

Wish him no luck at all. He wants to go there fair enough but we can stop this he is one of us. He isn’t not one of us, none on here would work for them lot so let’s not justify it.

Do you realise football clubs are businesses like any other? That all the staff members don't support the club they work for, heck, some staff don't even give a shit about the sport.

Poch is unemployed. He is a manager with a good reputation in the game, so, of course, Chelsea will go after him. We haven't at all. I think if we came with a serious offer, he would join us, even if the financials were slightly less.

Do I want Poch to succeed at Chelsea? Fuck no. I want them to be relegated. :ROFLMAO:
