Hi all, Mollie update.
At 10am this morning we got *the* phone call, GOSH have found a heart for Mollie. Her and her Mum are traveling up now and Mollie will be in surgery all being well in under 12 hours.
Mum will be staying in London with Mollie, I hope you all understand if we use some of the Gofund me cash rasied for her Brother as we wont know when Mollie can come home.

How are you doing mate?
I can only imagine the emotions that are raging around your head and heart at present.

Not sure what planet I am on at the moment mate tbh, she has been on the list for over 2 years but the call has still shocked me to my very core. They have just arrived at GOS so it all gets really real now.

I understand that, like, it's suddenly got very real.

It's horrible when you're having to sit at home too, when every fibre of your being wants to be there with them both.
I had that when my little girl was in hospital and I was at home with the other two.
I just couldn't sit still or sleep at all and my mind was constantly racing.

Just try to look after yourself mate because that's not always something us dads do very well but it's important, especially at a time like this.

As I say, we're always here to offer what little support we can. X

She is going down at 17:30, to start at 7 or so, as she is a hyperplast and is plumbed differently its looking like a 12 hour surgery.

Amazing news for you all - I’m absolutely chuffed and keeping everything crossed for the most perfect outcome. Mollie is in the very best place as GOSH is an incredible place and she will receive an incredibly high level of care.

She is in, late scare as she has Rhinovirus (cold). But she isn't really symptomatic other than a slightly moist nose
