He's not wrong is he? I often struggle to see why people can't see beyond midfielders scoring goals. Same goes for those who think he should be playing hollywood passes left, right and centre.

Winks' job is not to score goals, it is to keep things ticking over and move the ball around and ultimately keep possession.

Agreed. Winks' evolution isn't goals and assists imo, it playing more successful passes vertically to players in between the lines.
