Hi everybody!
After 20 years of long distance-supporting, I have finally booked my first visit to the Lane against Blackpool in the beginning of May.
So now I need to prepare and plan the whole day. What should I do? What should I not do?

I have read about taking a walk from Seven sisters and visiting Bricklayers. Any other pubs? Where should I eat? Is it a bad idea to visit the Spurs Store on a gameday? Any good places after the game?
Any pointers would be really appreciated. Consider me a Pilgrim and yourselves guiding voices. Or something like that.

You should start by wearing your spurs shirt with no trousers.

When in the Bricklayers you need to say "excuse me sir but could I trouble you for a glass of your finest Shiraz".

The Spurs store is usually very busy, but you can still get merchandise by walking up to one of the street vendors, where you can buy the Official Tottenham Hotspur Hooky Scarf.

Seven Sisters is a good walk, but it's quicker to get off and Blackhorse Road and walk from there.

After the game I recommend a trip to Gordon Ramsay's new Haringey restaurant Dallas Fried Oscar. Very nice. I particularly like the breaded confit of chicken leg.

Hope you have a great day.

Whereabouts are you travelling from?

I'm a fan of the Bell and Hare myself, bit rough and ready for some people though so depends what your bag is. The "garden" is a treat in summer, was quality before the Stoke game.

I'd personally recommend a visit to the brickies AND the b&h. Love both the pubs.

Yeah get there early, take a stroll around the ground, go to the shop, have some shitty grub and go on a pub crawl would be my recommendation. Brick, Bell & Hare and any others that take your fancy. Walking from 7 sisters will build your anticipation....

I don't drink much these days so if I was going I'd prefer the leisurely stroll from Seven Sisters arriving about an hour before kick-off, pop into the Spurs Shop and then head inside to soak up the atmosphere, watch the players warm-up and take a few photos.

Hope you enjoy yourself. Make sure Harry puts on a show and we win 4-0.

I like the Brickies, but it's a bit of a squeeze. The Bellend Hair is usually better because of the courtyard and smaller queue.

I tend to go in the spurs shop after the game as it allows for the train queue to go down and it's not usually as rammed as pre-game.

You get a monster breakfast in Jacks, just behind the south stand. Closest cafe to the ground. From there you have the Spurs Shop, few pubs and teh players entrance, which if you are there 3 hours before kick off is the place to hang about.
West Ham game a few weeks back I had teh pleasure of meeting Kevin Bond and Harry here, and seen a few players arriving - Jenas, Bassong, Gallas and Ekotto.

Bricklayers is the best atmosphere I have been to. Went to coach and horses the other night. Was quite shit. Not sure on comida SS57 may be able to recommend a few Turksih places-, but the shop is usually quite annoying after or before the game.

Also get the train from 7 Sisters to WHL- then you can walk to the Bricklayers. Or just get the train from Scouse St.
