Maybe only if they wanted Modric and threw Nani in as part of the deal, even then I doubt they'd allow us to sign Nani

No they're not - they're reporting that Nani is being sold (to unspecified suitors), in the same article as saying we are interested in Anderson, who is also being sold. Which is a worry.

I might be completely wrong with this, ie it might be now outdated, but there was something a year or so back saying that Nani was on surprisingly low wages.
