Somehow a new angle of Maradona's amazing goal vs England emerged yesterday. Not only is it a fascinating angle of the player but it also confirms that it wasn't an own goal. Figured I'd post it despite the English audience, because this is maybe the best goal ever.

Watching this, I found myself feeling and saying the same thing I did watching it live on tv......."someone just please foul him". Obviously the players on the pitch forgot how to tackle that day.

Agree with that... one tackle was so pathetic, I swear my old dear could put in a kick better!

Steffen Iversen would have something to say about that...

Would like it if this was followed up by a new angle of the other goal from that game, which proves he was a cheating, coke addled dwarf.

Apart from George Best, easily the greatest player in my lifetime. Have watched that goal a thousand times and it still gives me chills.

I always felt this goal was made to look better by shit defending much like giggs against arsenal in the fa cup.

Still a quality goal though ofcourse.

None of the Arsenal players even tried to tackle Giggs! Ginola's v Barnsley that year was much better.

very strange how an angle like that is released so randomly all these years later. Why wasn't it shown during the live coverage I wonder.

I wonder if Peter Reid has stopped jogging alongside Maradona yet, or if he's still to this day there!

Did people really think it was an own goal? I've never heard that before.
