New Training tops - anybody have one?

how are they to wear and look at? the pictures aren't great on the OS and i notice that despite being the official training wear the players dont wear them.

thinking of buying one instead of a home shirt this year.

I bought one of the training tops 3 seasons or so ago when the home kit had a lot of problems (colour fading off the Mansion logo and gold spurs lettering coming off the back) and it was classy.

Also considering getting myself a training top as well, there are some really nice looking ones on the OS.

I am debating whether I can pull off the sleeveless one, as its pretty warm in Hong Kong.

Probably not.

i dont think that i could get away with the sleeveless one - i'd like to say its because my pythons might scare people but in reality its because people may confuse my arms for thread.

I am trying to order it now from the OS, but I keep getting "Empty Field: Card Number Required (3509)". All of the details are filled in except the section at the top that says:


If you have a kit promotion gift card please enter your gift card number and pin here.
I don't, so I ignore it. And yet it won't allow me to process the payment and comes up with aforementioned error. Anyone else experienced this?

SLAI which one are you buying? the sleeveless one?

just seen this on ebay and am very tempted although its only in size L... its an official 08/09 shirt (players edition with double mesh) without the mansion logo (so probably an under 18's shirt):shrug:

Trasores, yeah, the sleeveless one. Good for the gym and the humid hong kong climate (going back there in mid-august).

But the fucking official site won't let me buy it, as I mentioned above, And of course the hotline is only open 10am-5pm Mon-Friday, which is REALLY useful. so might have to get my brother to sort it out for me while i'm at work.

The ebay one looks nice, if a bit plain.
