The one thing I feel sorry for Levy about is, how can everyone be mad for Porro to sign and he be this bad, this is all about coaching and tactics surely?

Booing Sanchez last week probably hasn't helped, the players don't want to play for this club or our fans anymore. The club is rotten to the core, we are totally fucked for a long time to come.

It's worse than that. All the ITKs behind the scenes are telling us the names of players that Levy wants to go after this summer so we don't miss out on a bargain. It doesn't matter if they 'fit" and we currently have neither a manager or DoF to define any sort of system.
Utterly terrifying.

Sat down to watch Only Fools and Horses or Spurs I'm really not sure which side I picked.
Absolutely no doubt Davinson Sanchez has shored us up everyone is more comfortable with the five at the back and before anyone says Newcastle have taken their foot off the pedal let's be honest they weren't even in top gear when they scored their five goals it was that easy for them.

Anyone going to the game on Thursday please make your voices heard regarding Levy. This is extremely important

Proper coaching at Newcastle. You cannot tell me that player for player they are so much better. Proper coaching has got them working as a team.

It’s a fair point but I’m not so sure. Full backs on the pitch are miles better than ours. Gk too. Botman is better than either of our CBs. Bruno is ten times the player of any of these CMs. Joelinton too since moving deeper. Son is a shadow of his former self and it might not be just coaching. We obviously should be better but this starting 11 today in terms of quality is really, really low.

No it's not. Wouldn't save the season of course but I'd much rather the player assessment started now and not another clean slate summer. It might give the fans a lift as well.
Give the fans a lift is the least of my worries….

You’d hope it would give the players a kick up the arse, a bit of accountability …. Something.

I said on all my whatsapp groups I expected a really bad one today, though this is extraordinary. One team going through the motions who has given up on the season vs. one who would be giving it everything. A hammering was always on the cards.

We've all said he's got to do something different, but we do see the reality of "just doing something" and rocking up with something random. 4-3-3 which we never play and probably done minimal prep work on - fullbacks who can't defend, three midfielders who are all the same type and had no idea what they were meant to do in any aspect of the play, getting raped down the flanks because Kulu and Son don't want to track back. It was disastrous. You can't really just pluck things out of the air.

Stellini and co. are dead ducks and are largely getting stuffed by the club above him giving up on this season and not doing anything when Conte stormed off, and the players on the pitch likewise downing tools and mentally hitting the beach, but selections such as Lloris, Romero, Son, Kulu, etc in recent weeks are just backfiring and totally on them.

But yeah, everyone has given up and just want this campaign to end and it's going to be a grim few weeks until hopefully the reset and revolution is coming.
We live in eternal hope……

Every match over the past few months has seen a side bereft of confidence, belief and trust in each other. Some results have papered over the crap cracks/gorges but we could all see this kind of result coming.

Side concedes and heads don't just drop they disappear.

We need to get to the end of this season, hope weve hit the low point and rebuild for next season

Dads watching it on delay and never wants me to tell him score.

We’ve just gone 1-0 down…

I’ll have to have a discussion about this in future as to whether I should just be telling him not to bother lol.

i knew nothing on him before he joined but the clamor for him made me think he would be far better than what he has shown. Again im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt - we are shit.
