It’s a fair point but I’m not so sure. Full backs on the pitch are miles better than ours. Gk too. Botman is better than either of our CBs. Bruno is ten times the player of any of these CMs. Joelinton too since moving deeper. Son is a shadow of his former self and it might not be just coaching. We obviously should be better but this starting 11 today in terms of quality is really, really low.

Dan Burn is not great, but I take your point. I still think a decent coach is able to get these players playing better. Conte is not a coach nor Mourinho in my mind, they are managers. Howe is a coach, he works with players and what he has achieved in very short time is incredible. Mourinho and Conte expect ready made players.....
