It was in all the reports about Porro that he couldn’t defend. That made me wonder why so many people seemed to think he was the saviour and under Conte would be amazing
That's because Porro is, and was at Sporting, an attacking wingback. That's what they do. I'm actually expecting Udogie to be similar.

Lloris tearing into them would be another fine example of "person who's been responsible not taking his share of blame".

This is an improvement from the kevin keegan days when we lost 7 nil to them at St James park in the 90s.
It was 7-1, we went 20+ minutes without conceding and it was 1-1 at halftime. This current Spurs team are on course to being worse.

Fair play to Dave, he's come on and has arguably been one of our best players in the second half. It's not a very high bar but still...

What type of leader refuses to come out and play? He sucked like the rest of the team. One thing to speak up which was hopefully done since he is captain, but refusing to play seems like a bush league move and I hope he doesn't play the rest of the season.

If true.

@Africoy
how can you disagree with this after watching these same players back end of last season?

A purple patch under Conte doesn’t excuse the last 4 seasons of utter BS we’ve had to put up with as fans.

Honest question, what will it take for you to see just how little these players care about your club?

Good tbh.

He’s been a sub-par captain at best, the armband should have been given to Kane several years ago.

We have no leadership at any level, from the boardroom to the pitch. Lloris is part of that.
Kane isn’t a leader to be honest. We all saw his inspirational team talks.
He’s pretty much non performed in every big game he’s played in

Only if he excludes himself, which I honestly don't think he would.
