Its not just the recruitment...its when these players walk through the door of the Club...

They obviously feel they can get away with not putting in a 100%

Coupled with "I can go and talk to Daniel" and you create an even bigger situation for apathy, unprofessionalism and lack of ambition to become the norm.

As much as this hurts etc - this is what is needed to hopefully properly sort the club out.

We might not be good at the moment but we were still in with a chance before kick off, albeit a slight one.

You make it sound like the season was completely over....it wasn't.

This is exactly the problem with the Club, this kind of attitude.

Just accept heartless performances with no fight.

There is zero fight and that should be a fucking prerequisite for any player playing at any level, especially on this stage.

Its not good enough to come out with this tripe.
It was definitely over because Stellini tactically can only continue what was already well and truly found out, and I've seen the players effort levels in the last few weeks - they've mentally packed up with a rudderless ship, have stopped giving there all, and aren't going to switch back on now.

It is no surprise to anyone we got smashed today, the first 20 mins were extraordinary obviously but a dead team against one bang up for it wanting CL was always likely to be pretty grim viewing.

I don't accept anything ffs. I'd keep about 3 players in the entire squad. But I save myself unnecessary aggro or "surprise" by accepting that this season has been dead for a few weeks now.

Conte gave up and did a runner. The board obviously wanted to get through to May with him, then decided no to an interim and are stuck now because if the guy they want isn't coming till the summer -which all signs point to - then this is dead time we're just playing out. Stellini doesn't have the answers. Installing Poch or some "high press high possession" manager right now would do zero with a lazy fucker front three that don't press, turgid plodder centre mids, and a defence that can't push up or play the ball out. Getting Redknapp or some interim, with zero authortiy, will make zero difference to these remaining weeks. It's over now, finito, done with.

I'm already thinking about 23/24.

Didn’t watch the match (I know, I’m very lucky) were there any audible Levy out chants or singing of Poch’s name?

Anyone know the record for number of pages on a match day thread?

This is the only silver lining today 🤣

If we were to sell our souls you just know the very next day FFP would clamp down hard on us. It is the way

I can't ever remember one reaching 100 pages before the final whistle but that doesn't mean much, I go to the toilet and stand there wondering why I went in there.

I think we've had plenty get to where we're currently at (134 pages) and a few go further.

If we had put up a fight and lost 2-1 or 1-0 would people still complain about Levy?
Even though Levy should have done this and that he cant be blamed for the shocking performance we witnessed today.
Today i put the blame directly on the joke of a manager and his spineless, gutless players. For not giving a fuck.

If we'd gone 4:3:3 6 months ago, we might be playing it effectively now.
It wouldn’t matter how long we practice the formation both Porro and Perisic are not FBs and I personally don’t think we have a CB that can work in a two
