Would be interesting to the know the stats on how many games we have won with this kit on?

2-0 at the break and it’s breaking me.

Before the first goal I counted 11 stray passes giving up possession - it must be up to about 30 now.

It’s week after week rinse and repeat sickening

Where I’m watching the game, no VAR offsides line on the first goal. How and why? Isak is centimetres on-/offside (his knee). Strange it wasn’t even looked at?

Not trying to excuse anything; we’re lucky to only be 2 down. Our front 4 aren’t pressing, and aren’t really giving them much problems when in attack either. One of the worst halves in a long, long time.

Thankfully didn't see the second goal. But that first goal from what should have been a chance for us son and Maddison somehow fuck-up around the newcastle box and it's down the other end and it's a goal to Newcastle.
Exactly that's us in a nutshell we gifted a chance absolutely make a hash of it Newcastle go up and score.

I’d actually think about bringing Kulu on for Werner then swapping Johnson to the left. I know Kulu has been way off form but at least he runs non stop and tracks back. Even if he is off form he won’t offer less then Werner, who’s been poor, but will offer more out of possession.

Aside from that I think PEH and Gio would help.

Bissouma cant start the NLD, we'lll get totally overrun.

Seen enough of him for now, he's literally struggling to control the ball when he receives a pass
I'm very surprised he started today tbh. He'll be off at half time and I would be absolutely astonished if he started against arsenal. I wouldn't be devastated to see him moved on in the summer.

I think Kulusevski could help us here as he’s good at keeping the ball under pressure and right now it feels like the ball bounces off us and Newcastle counter.

Watching us reminds me of Spurs under Poch when we struggled to break down a low block. However, our defending is far worse. So whereas we'd struggle to score we weren't gifting up so many chances.

I’m honestly completely sick of not changing or tweaking our tactics depending on who we play. Howe has played a blinder and completely out coached Ange today imo. He knew we’d keep Werner and Johnson high and wide no matter what and he’s overloading udogie and porro. Werner and Johnson are offering no help and Howe knew it.

This pitch and gaps will he too much for PEH so this isn't for him.

Sarr for Bentancur is an option for sure though

Not sure on the conspiracy side, but VAR is regularly wrong for all teams. It's just a pointless waste of time. May as well use for offside only.
I don't agree its a waste of time, but it is glaring the decisions that seem wrong.
