We can't do this every time we lose a game.

Yes, we need work. Yes, Ange needs to figure out fixes. Yes, new players are needed.

But every loss it seems to be "it's not goign to work, system, tinpot, Celtic, Melbourne' etc –it's just the insecurities from before he joined. Be pissed off, sure, but be patient. A new manager thread will not solve anything.
It’s also not binary.

You can be supportive with Ange as manager and want him to make wholly necessary changes.

Calling for Ange’s head already is absolute madness. He absolutely deserves criticism. 100%. But man relax just a little

Just what?
Don’t get this team. In theory a strong defence and midfield but midfield just don’t get on the game and defence play hugebloomers.com. Up front just too weak. Vicario player of season.
Huge rebuild again?
No doubt there are some huge players: Vicario, Romero, VDV, Sonny, Doggie, Bents, Madison, maybe Porro and Sarr and maybe Biss if Ange can get a handle on him.
We need two signings who are top, top quality going forward and who are game changers in their own right and we need to be able to hold the ball in games like this.
Suddenly still seems we are that long way away but I don’t think we are that far really.
Ho hum let’s hope we can do our usual good performance against top teams.
Love Ange too much still for his style but he has got to look for better defending, better control of games, better passing.

Ange definitely needs more time and we desperately need a period of stability at this club. The last time a manager actually completed a full season here was Poch in 2018/19. That’s ancient history now. But…make no mistake, today was simply unacceptable and it wasn’t a one off. We’ve seen this sort of thing happen a few times this season. The early season good vibes and credit fully ran out today I think. Seriously worrying.

Maybe the high line was the reason they didn't look like scoring in the first place until we made mistakes and bad decisions ?

When you say they didn't look like scoring.... it's not like we parked the bus and then suddently switched to a high line that cost us.

Chelsea had Jackson who was in woeful form, they had no one like us with Son who was dominant in the air or able to hold the ball up. They didn’t score again until the 75th minute. They did however break our lines several times only to make a complete hash of it prior to scoring their 2nd. With 15 mins plus injury time to play, battening down the hatches and getting a draw was a real possibility whereas maintaining the high line was flirting with disaster and this ultimately cost us. This was pivotal to our season as all the hard work and fantastic results pre this game has gone out of the window.

Ange would have got slaughtered on here for starting Deki
It’s weird. People call for a player to be dropped and with a spell out of the side you get calls for him to start. It’s as if they’ve never been part of similar performance and are now ‘the answer’.

It’s like some sort of Hokey Cokey and it’s a bit odd. Spurs fans aren’t alone in this.

If we take the option on Werner it'll tell us that the decision makers at Spurs don't have the killer instinct to take this club away from Spursiness. He's not the only one to blame for today, but he's not good enough and won't be. That was utter horseshit from the manager and everyone involved. Villa climbed a spot without playing!

It's amazing we've got the goals-for total we have this season because game after game all we're doing is fucking around with sideways standing football and not endangering their keeper. Dubravka with the easiest 90 mins in years today.

The NLD is going to be a fucking circus if this clown show reappears.

The guy (Werner) embodies Tottenham, nearly brilliant but ultimately...

City are proof that it can work but all of their midfielders whether it be defensive or offensive both work their arses off and so technically gifted that they’re a nightmare to get the ball off them. None of our midfielders can replicate what City do. The last player to do this was Dembele.
Maddison thinks he can but his decision making has been off for months.

Lo Celso showed vs City that he can but he's not favoured/trusted/liked etc

We need someone like Eze in the team alongside Maddison, the others in attack can't think for themselves.

Just hoping Ange will tweak something next season. We need to be less open. A point would have been a great result for us today. Instead we lost heavily and made our goal difference worst. If he does not change I can see us giving teams plenty of chances again next season regardless which new player comes in. Fans will turn if this continues next season.

Anthony Gordon summing it up, saying they knew they couldn’t play their normal game or we’d beat them, so they switched it up tactically to give them what they thought was the best way to play us.
And we don't switch our game even when its obvious we need to. The oppositions tail is up and they can see that consistently pressing us when we are trying to get out from the keeper is producing good results, we keep trying over and over again with the same result to play out.
