Absolutely disgusting performance as was the previous one, I fear this season will prove to be a flash in the pan, with next season another 2 points from 8 games fiasco with Poch gone by Christmas. Awful.

3-0 up at home to united and lost 5-3. We were laughed at then as we will be now.

I was at the game and like it or not United were awesome and totally destroyed us. We played the same way but just couldn't cope they were that good.

I don't know how people can take any positives from this, saying "We have qualified for the champions league, this is our best league finish" it means FUCK ALL.

We are without a trophy, again, we are 3rd below Arsenal, again, we have shown that we lack guts and that we are bottlejobs AGAIN.

But you know, at least Harry got the golden boot ey? Nevermind the fact we just got fucking embarrassed by a ten man Newcastle 5-1 who couldn't even beat Villa to keep them in the league.

Positives? Do one.

Absolutely embarrassing. We may have made strides this season, but the facts are there now... At the crunch we didn't want to know and were various degrees of pathetic culminating in todays 'performance'.

What's even worse is the stick we are going to get, what with a large amount of our fanbase who have proclaimed us the 'rightful' champions over the last month or so. Hahahahahaha. We're going to take some shit now, and have to wear it. Talked a lot of talk, did not walk the walk.

Fuck off football.

The signs were there in the first FA Cup tie against a reserve Leicester were we managed to get a reply by the virtue of a incorrect penalty decision. They were there with Palace cup game, the Forentina away tie, the Dortmund game, the Arsenal game, the West Ham game, the West Brom game and the games that followed. And yet we choose to ignore all of this, chosen to give plaudits to ourselves before the seasons end, chosen to talk about future title challenges and ignore the fact that we were even in one this season. Massive lessons all around.

I'm pretty sure the last 3-4 games will heavily influence our transfer strategy this summer. The way we have crumbled without Dembele in particular is concerning.

Leaves a huge question mark on our potential for next season

It shows there's still a fare way to go with this squad.

And if poch believes our general FB situation is sorted he needs to have a word with himself.

Hopefully poch has today realised who isn't up to the job next season.

Mason, Carroll, Chadli will prob go.

Dier needs to back to the graham Roberts at the start of the season.

Wimmer for vertonghen. We need some physical strength and aerial ability.

I don't know why we didn't park the bus. Maybe, Poch can't do that, but he needs to learn. This was Spurs of old: wide open down the middle.

Embarrassing; the only positive is with the two players out for their own stupid faults we have seen how weak a midfield we have .
First 11 great the rest poor except for Wimmer and the two full backs.
Money needs spending.

I'd rather give Yedlin a go, dont see what Walker has that Yedlin hasnt. And at least Yedlin can put a decent cross in.
Well it has to be said that when Walker went off today we went from looking like turning the game around at 2-1 against 10 men to losing 5-1 and being lucky to only lose by that margin

I don't think Walker is that bad, personally but I understand your frustration with him

Chadli on the other hand - he offered nothing when he came on. In fact I can't recall the last time he did offer anything, he simply has to be sold (look at the difference between he and Townsend today for example)

Yes! We qualified for the Champions League! We have the best defence and best GD in the league! Harry Kane wins the golden boot! We also have the youngest squad with the most potential and everyone "in the know" is raving about us

but wait...we lost one game to Newcastle and Arsenal finished above us by 1 point.

Well let's just fuck it all. Sack everyone! Fuck the stadium off and sulk all summer.

or....

Get a fucking grip! Enjoy the Euros this summer. Look forward the the new additions Poch will surely make and watch us improve next season.
Fuck off.... You know exactly why everyone is pissed off... Especially those that are going to get shit loads of abuse because of soft bunch of ****s.

Today really fucking hurts.

We lost it mentally at the Chelsea match. The feeling of helplessness must have got to the players, knowing that Chelsea would gift it to Leicester even if we beat them.
Poch did not manage to keep the team together mentally. Emotionally, maybe, maybe not, but mentally, definitely not. I honestly thought we would have gone to Newcastle with a defensive set-up, just to play it safe. Maybe shown some composure and discipline... Instead, we see players charging up the pitch, out of position, giving the ball away etc. and running round like headless chickens.

Why can't Poch see that Walkers end product is next to nothing and at least have Trippier on the bench in case we need to chase a game?
Why is Davies, who hasn't played for weeks, suddenly in the team over Rose?
When is Verthongen's poor form going to be addressed?
Why are Son and Mason, who both regularly give the ball away when we are advanced and therefore exposed - BOTH in the team?
When has Carroll or Onomah ever come on and changed a game? What was the point of that?
Why don't we change formation ever? If needs must. A team seems to have success over and over and Poch doesn't react. Townsend and Sissoko were dominating and should have been marked out of the game or double teamed.... Something!

Not confident about the future, to be honest. We need AT LEAST 6 better players in over the summer.

Bentaleb, Chadli, Mason, N'jie, Carroll, even Son can all go if we have offers. I'd even consider letting Verts go if a good offer came in.
Onomah should go on loan too. We need two CMs, another RWF, LWF, back up CF and another CB if Verts goes.

No bullshit people. The minute the title was lost and the second Poch got his new contract the players and manager gave up.

The past few results are a big middle finger to the hard working Spurs fans everywhere.

Can't even beat AVB's points total? Fucking joke.

This hurts so much. 20 years plus I have waited to finally get one over those ****s.

Still, we have the inevitable Instagrams coming from the players on their holidays...holidays that two thirds of season ticket holders can't afford.

Utter scum.

Utter, utter scum.

My worry is that this mental breakdown could continue into next season.

All the confidence we've gained throughout the season - gone.
What you say is true and concerning, something the gaffer said needs addressing. It makes it blatantly obvious these have to go:
Davies
Carroll
Mason
Chadli
Yedlin

Those are the obvious ones if we are clinically serious. We need 4-5 in!

And you're an idiot if you think we lost because of that decision

Of course it contributed. It's all about Sports Psychology, I think that decision ended the game at that point. We could have easily come back in for a draw at that point

“Before the Man City game I was having dinner with Erik Lamela and I was still asking him if he reckoned we could finish top four.

“I’ve never seen someone look at me with such disgust. He said ‘My friend, we can win the league.’

We didn't win the league but we need more guys with that mentality. Not surprising Lamela was the only one to do something today.

Anyway, full focus on ITK and Euros now.
