We don't talk about Brunobruno?
We don't talk about Brunobruno?
Who knows.
Could be difficult to work with or could be difficult for the Spurs board to work with because he often told them what they didn't want to hear?Paratici broight in several really good players. For Conte. Who didn’t rate most of them. But same players game good under Ange. Who Paratici didn’t want (his choice was Enrique).
But more on the serious side:
Paratici has one, very serious flaw. He’s obviously really good at spotting talents, but he’s equally terrible in selling players. He was at Juve and he was with us.
Lange’s record at selling players, both at Villa and Copenhagen, is far, far superior.
Gabbi did a really good job for us after Paratici left. But as has been described in several articles, he isn’t/wasn’t a great people’s person and could be a bit difficult to work with. In the Athletic piece, Lange is described as a very likable and popular person. Which fits much better with what Ange has brought to the club. Atmosphere and environment shouldn’t be underestimated in any workplace.

I got the impression he didn’t want to stay as chief scout but club didn’t think he was right for dof role so he’s left to try and take the step up elsewhere.Could be difficult to work with or could be difficult for the Spurs board to work with because he often told them what they didn't want to hear?
Not sure why some are worrying over this appointment of Lange , 11:50 into this interview Ange says he would not approve a signing that he didn't think would fit into the system he wants to play with the first team .
On academy & youth signings he said he wouldn't be involved and that would be up to the club.
Have faith in Ange to say what type of player he wants for the 1st team.
We don't really know why he left. There's an assumption that because he was described as combative that it's the reason. It could be that they sat down talking about what they wanted to do, and discussed what he wanted to do with his career and decided it was a good time to part ways. It's all conjecture.Crazy to get rid of Gabbiadini because of his supposed temper. I'm sure Lange and Munn will be very well behaved, minding their p's and q's at all times, especially in front of Mrs. Levy. But is that an essential job qualification? Isn't a scout just supposed to come up with good players? If he brings home the bacon, so what if he ruffles a few corporate feathers in the process...
Hugo and Dier leave on frees next summer so it's moot.If he can sell Ndombele / Hugo / Dier on a perm, Lange will be loved

Not sure I remember in recent years any Spurs coach/manager come out and actually say things like this about transfers and having the final say , all I remember is Poch saying Sissoko was a club signing and the painful rebuild stuff. If only it were as simple as that eh.
Levy or Munn would literally be torn to pieces by the fans were that ever to happen with all the credit Ange has with not only SPurs but what seems the entire footballing worldNot sure I remember in recent years any Spurs coach/manager come out and actually say things like this about transfers and having the final say , all I remember is Poch saying Sissoko was a club signing and the painful rebuild stuff.
Would assume when Ange joined he would have discussed transfer policy with Levy and now Munn, if Munn or Levy deny Ange his wishes there would be a whole load of clubs ready to take him on as coach in an instant , they would sack managers to make way for him.
Ange is a pretty savvy operator. He'll play his cards wisely, but he and Levy will see the way the fanbase is totally besotted by him already. He'll be able to use to media to lever pressure on Levy if and when the time comes.Levy or Munn would literally be torn to pieces by the fans were that ever to happen with all the credit Ange has with not only SPurs but what seems the entire footballing world
Imagine if they managed to be sold in winter transfer window eh?Hugo and Dier leave on frees next summer so it's moot.
We need a scout, not a boy scout.Crazy to get rid of Gabbiadini because of his supposed temper.
