The main issue is we don't win anything and that is what always gets thrown my way by fans of rival clubs, we flatter to deceive but other clubs laugh at us because we always fall flat on our faces.Guess it depends on peoples version of success. Some want entertaining football or great facilities others want to win things. All boils down to whether you believe the last 5 years to have been successful or not.
Not so sure about Poch giving us our self respect back as we were on the up and up a few years prior to his arrival compared to previous years. Couple that with the fact that just being a Spurs fan is enough in itself. We are one only 5 teams I believe to have been in the PL since its inception and have a pretty decent reputation in club football going back decades.
I was talking about this with a family member last weekend when we were discussing the acceptance along with starting to lose interest in the club because it looks like we are stuck with poch and years of chasing the big boys again.
Nothing will change whilst the structure of ownership is in place unfortunately there is no sign of them wanting to sell so the club so we remain financially strong but weak on glory.
