Be interesting to see the ven diagramme of the people who are adiment that Zaniolo will be a flop, the worst signing in history, with those who thought Ndombele would be the best signing ever and the best midfielder in the leauge

Who’s saying he’d be the worse signing in history?

Can't go wrong with a loan to buy deal. There aren't many players that we could sign that would start ahead of Kulu right now so instead bringing in a similar style of player to compete/ add depth is not a bad move imo.

Depends for me if we're bringing in a technical player. By the looks of it Zaniolo isn't gonna pick out passes, whip in dangerous crosses or dead balls. We still need that player. With only Zaniolo in we'll be amazing at breaking on teams but soon teams will figure us out and start dropping deeper. We've got no answers to that atm apart from better wing backs perhaps, not even good set piece delivery.
Yes. This.

I admit I’m terrified of the likes of Bournemouth, Wolves, Palace, and West Ham next year. The orc-like anti football sides languishing in the relegation spots. The thing is, they should be a guaranteed 3 points but we’ve struggled to break teams down under Conte and it’ll only get tougher next season.

I hope this new fangled set piece specialist is a genius because without those X factor sort of goals, I have a feeling we’ll be coming away frustrated in a lot of those matches. We’ve made fun of Arsenal for signing light weight fancy-foot fairies, but the truth is all PL matches count for the same 3 points, and we need some playmaking in the side. I’m not confident in our ability to pass through low blocks and none of our wingbacks are good crossers, bar Perisic. Conte has his work cut out for him this year. Zaniolo is a beastly ball progressor and runner into space on the counter, put 2 or 3 defenders in front of him though and it’s a much different story.
This is spot on mate (y)

I think the people who think he’s ‘shit’ are right.

I also think the people who think he’s not shit are right

Yes, the fence is a comfortable seat. Especially over something that hasn’t even happened yet.

Furthermore I cannot see any one side ‘winning’ the argument. So actually, I win because I’m not going to get worked up over it. Yay

Yeah, he doesn't strike me as the kinda player that's going to bang in tons of goals like Sonny or Kane, but it does seem like he doesn't let the big occasion overawe him. in fact he seems to have the ability to upset the opposition team by some weird combination of shithousery and being pretty dangerous on the ball.

Watching his performance against RM, albeit before he got injured, its interesting to note that he had only just turned 20 at this time, and it looked like he rattled Casemiro, beat him a couple of times, and also succeeded in pissing Marcelo off with a bit of shithousery. So much so that Casemiro tried to fake an elbow in the face to get him in trouble.

Not exactly a fan of his antagonistic style, but its probably going to be a bitch to have to play against him, Romero and Richarlison ?. I think it fits into the team dynamic that Conte is trying to build - we're going to be a real fking pain to play against.

So he's basically Lamela MK II ?

Another I think would be very interesting is a venn diagram of the people who were adamant Traore would be a flop and the worst signing in history, with those who think that Zaniolo would be a great signing because Conte wants him ?

edit: This being said when at the time we believed that Conte wanted Traore too.

So I'm quite new here......does it always go this mad over something that hasn't happened yet!? It's not like the ITK os even we have made an offer. It's just talks. And we also all know how paratici likes to have 3 or 4 options pretty progressed before he picks?
