My first game was against Manchester United in 1976 2 weeks before my 8th birthday. Since then there's been some incredible highs and but many more devastating lows. Our club has caused me more pain than any other outside of my family. I've laughed and cried at wins and losses. My attendance at matches is now sparodic at best and salute all those that make the not inconsiderable effort to follow our team home and away.
Tottenham Hotspur are such an important part of my life and I sometimes take them for granted. But not tonight. Tonight they are my world and whatever the result I'll be crying buckets at full time and I make no apology for that.
