Starting to warm up to him. Not the quickest but he can sort of bring the other front players into play. Not expensive and plenty of PL experience, willing to go back into the bench when Kane is back. Not bad?

It’s bollocks. He’ll end up at Inter. It’s just us being used to get them to pay up. These kind of stories always come up towards deadline day.

Looks like Piatek is our number one option, we may have made inquiries for the likes of Giroud but surely they are backup options. Though I still rate Giroud.

I don't think it's realistic to consider Chelsea loaning/selling us a striker right at the end of the transfer window when we're in dire need of one to try and catch them in the league, and that's without considering the fact we absolutely despise each other as clubs.
I agree.

My point was if it was possible.

Very underrated and would be a good backup for Kane. If he's motivated against his older teams he will be a handful. Can't see this happening or if it did Chelsea would quote us a lot.

Sod it. Bring him in. He knows the league, he knows where the goal is. He knows European football. Proven international.

No brainer.

What is gards on about ?

Was regarding Girouds agent being at the training ground yesterday. Said he has other clients and now saying it’s not a striker there currently. Was hoping his agent is somehow linked to Berge haha

for footballing reasons it's a smart move. But absolute no - be strong Spurs

love how London means these players are happy to come to us (or helps) and doesn't disrupt their lives

Let's be honest, it will be Jérémy Toulalan...
Who is retired! Morgan Sanson is interesting... only 18 months left on his contract, so Marseille would look to offload in the summer (with just 12 months left on Sanson's contract) to get as much of a fee as possible. Would tally with plans being made for the summer

Dunno how exactly this works in England, but in Europe, it's far away from the times when a player had only one agent and that agent dealt with any of his transfers.

It still happens when it's a super agent or a star player, but for the majority of young footballers, they have multiple agents who orchestrate a move to a certain league or a club.

Especially when that player is leaving a club in a smaller league.

For example, Bergwijn might have given approval to Mendes to talk to Benfica, Zahavi to talk to Tottenham and Raiola to talk to Inter. Zahavi provided him the best offer, so he chose us and we had to pay Zahavi a %.

Giroud's agent might have permission from an unnamed player to talk to us. But it's not a long term contract, so it's not on Transfermarkt, where frankly anybody can write anything.
