I agree it seems to be made unnecessarily more difficult, my young nephew doesn't have an email address and it's a risk with putting the tickets on his phone which is more likely to be lost or the ticket pass accidentally deleted. They should create a facility for adults to have junior members on one digital ticket pass.
Have you tried getting a stadium photo id entry card for your nephew , it bypasses the phone problem , scroll down the page to find the info.

Many thanks for this. I've signed him up for membership for the first time this season so I will do this👍

Was on at 9:00 and no queue, was able to browse site fine and search for tickets for other games, kept refreshing expecting to be put into queue soon. Suddenly a few minutes ago it dumped me into queue with 13000 in it!

Same but I’ve not been dumped in the queue yet…

Hmm I was refreshing and there was still no option to buy a ticket for Hotspur members - I read your post and tried clicking the Hotspur+ button and now I'm in a queue with 14k people - pretty frustrating.

I wish I had realised I could do that, was refreshing like a knob since 9am waiting for the other button. Lesson learnt I guess.
But it still dumped me in the queue with 16k in front of me. That’s more than was in front of me yesterday.

Way more people try to get tickets on the second day as you get all the non-plus members (thats me)

I've managed to get tickets on the exchange every time I've tried (including Man Utd). Chelsea might be a problem which is why I'm trying in the sale but I'm reasonably confident of getting tickets closer to the date.

How much closer out of interest? I need to book flights and a hotel as well which makes leaving it till late a bit awkward.

Always found the best way to get into the queue on ticket sale days is by using the access ticketing account link and not using the tickets on sale pages. Before they let you into the queue you should get the are you a robot page , then once past that you can enter your email and when it's your turn to have a look at the ticket map you get an email alert

It's varied, where we've had travel plans to make, I've done it a month or so before but generally 1-2 weeks before has been when some better seats pop up. Check regularly and seats come up all the time on the exchange.
