It will be either him or Maddison IMO.
Doubt we sign both.
Depends on who else we ship out.
If we only keep Bentancur, Bissouma and then get those 2 in, then that's better than we have now! Or even keep Skipp also.

You may well be right but then you have to factor in Kane dropping deeper than Gimenez would in being the playmaker so 433 could be the preference.Sorry bud i disagree with that, re the midfield. You have to remember Slot rotates between a 433 and 4231. In both cases Szymański is the AM who will also play in the CM 3 but will be the most advanced. Kokcu also puts a foot in defensively quite a bit. In having Bentancure and Kokcu on the pitch you would have too much overlap even if there skill sets differ. You would still need that AM who breaks into the box. Szymański isn't a particularly great player but he still racked up 9 goals and 4 assists this season which displays the importance of that advanced midfielder role in Slot's system.
As I said, even if we get Kokcu we will still need an AM for his set up.
Don’t know much about him, is he a playmaker type like a Navas at wolves?
Like I was saying, nothing like Bentancur or Bissouma…Deep lying playmaker. Take with salt because playing in an inferior league but per 90:
Assists:
• Kokcu - .07
• Neves - .03
Shot-Creating Actions:
• Kokcu - 6.42
• Neves - 2.36
Progressive Passes:
• Kokcu - 12.33
• Neves - 6.51
Passes attempted:
• Kokcu - 83.75
• Neves - 62.85
Pass Completion %:
• Kokcu - 81.6%
• Neves - 82.3%
Progressive Carries:
• Kokcu - 2.87
• Neves - .85
Successful Take-Ons:
• Kokcu - .94
• Neves - .58
Tackles:
• Kokcu - 1.27
• Neves - 2.36
Interceptions:
• Kokcu - .57
• Neves - 1.51
Blocks:
• Kokcu - .5
• Neves - 1.79
Can Kokcu keep up with the physical/defensive demands of the PL while still retaining his high offensive stats? That will be the question if he moves here.

Give me a deep creative midfielder like Eriksen over a player like Maddison all day long. We need to worry about actually controlling games long before we need to worry about breaking down low blocks etcYes to me, he would come off as more similar to Eriksen in his role at Utd with a bit worse assist type stats and a bit better defensive stats. Or Gross in his DM role at Brighton where he has 16 matches this season with 4 goals/5 assists. That's the role I would want/expect him to take up with us.
Bentancur to me is the closest thing we've had to Dembele.
The interesting thing about Gimenez is that he is very much a striker. He only racked up 3 assists all season in all competitions. I mean he only has 14 career assists, its clearly not his forte. Like you point out Kane is a very different type of forward. Thing is tho that when looking at Gimenez within the Slot set up you can certainly see a comparison to how City set up with Haaland. I think if we let Kane sit deeper and take up that AM role then the 3rd midfielder would have to act as more a shadow striker/Raumdeuter to essentially make up for the lack of focal point in the box which is essential for Slot. Ether way, its not ideal and something Slot will have to work out.You may well be right but then you have to factor in Kane dropping deeper than Gimenez would in being the playmaker so 433 could be the preference.

Well whats for sure is we will need to figure out what we are doing with Devine as he will be 19 soon and by all accounts has started to stagnate a little in the under 21's. Really there is no reason not to integrate him like you say but I still feel he will most likely get a loan. Ether way he needs to be playing as much as possible. Its a shame we haven't given him more game time up until now.I have a feeling Slot may really like Devine if he becomes our manager. High energy, makes a lot of runs in and around the box, good ball striker and can drop deeper too.
May not be a starter every game but I wonder if we brought in Alex Scott, promote Devine and then sign Kokcu (replacing Hojbjerg):
Bissouma/Skipp/Sarr
Bentancur/Kokcu/Sarr
Devine/Scott
With Sarr capable of playing in 2 of the roles and also us being able to mix up the combinations depending on who we play, the way we want to tweak our tactics etc. For example playing both Benny and Kokcu with Bissouma in certain games. Would significantly reduce the age of our midfield options and add technical ability and energy too.
In this case Kokcu could be a valuable addition for his technical ability, pressing ability, leadership and his progressive passing/playmaking skills.
His value would go beyond what he would offer on the pitch I think (although I do think he is a tidy player) - he is a trusted Slot lieutenant and his presence in the squad and on the training ground would help to facilitate the implementation of Slot ball and its requirements from a player point of view
