In fairness EVERY team has quite a few injuries these days - Everton, Blackburn, Villa, West Ham, etc (check out physioroom)

I think it's the high-tempo of the football played, as well as the gazillion or so games every team plays a season

It's just one of those things that you have to grin and bear

Ironically, the team that could do with a few injuries for squad rotation -Man City- is the team with the least injuries right now!!

There is an element of luck - the Dawson and Defoe injuries spring to mind, but obviously any injury in a match is usually down to a dodgy tackle or something (VDV excepted).

However one thing that springs to my mind is the fact that 'arry doesn't seem to be mixing the squad up that much. Obviously we want to win games but if we keep playing pretty much the same XI in the league and Champions League, it will eventually catch up on us. These players aren't super-human and will eventually succumb to exhaustion or their bodies just won't be able to recover quickly enough, so they have to be rested.

Personally, I think Harry needs to start mixing it up a bit. We have one of the best squads in the country and it's time to start using it properly.
