So Alexis Bernard should be ignored then? Gotcha.

Quality signing. Will be watching Metz when I can. Bring on next season already.

Without wishing to sound disingenuous, I cannot see the point in this signing.
I agree, in fact I would go as far as to say I cannot see the point in any signing. We should just stick to who we have and let them play into their 80s and beyond. Loyalty!

Sissoko out and Sarr in (next year) seems like good business to me. A much needed refresh in the engine room, as it were. If we also bring in Moriba, that's looking like a great window in terms of bringing the age of the squad down.

Official site calling him a defensive midfielder is interesting, he looks like a box to box from the clips I have seen. Be great if he does turn out to be the defensive midfielder who can sit and protect the back 4, with the ability to get us playing that we have craved since dembele left.

Alexis Bernard was really all over the scoop here.
He absolutely chanced that one having not heard much in a couple days hoping it would be off/be announced in a couple days to make him look credible.

I am not suggesting a song for him, but for some reason whenever I read his name, I hear it to the tune of "Oye Como Va" in my head.

Unrelated: I'm rather excited about this signing, and about what seems to be our youth strategy. It shows long term ambition which is something we've lacked for a few years. I know a lot of people have been down on the window so far (due to the number of links that've evaporated), but I think in a couple of years we'll look back on this window as very successful.
