What if nobody is willing to meet those alleged wage demands then? And his options therefore boil down to:

A. Stay at Juve, where he is apparently no longer wanted, and earn £100k pw to sit on the bench. Agent gets no fee.

B. Move to Spurs, where he is very much wanted and earn £200k pw to play regular PL and CL football. Agent gets a fee for the transfer.

Wage 'demands' are all well and good, but they're meaningless unless someone is prepared to meet them. You then have to decide whether to stick with what you have or listen to the best offer on the table.
I take it as a piss-off message from Dybala. It's similar to being approached for a job you necessarily don't want (due to location, duties, or other). You throw a gigantic salary at them knowing very well that they won't likely accept it.
