Always interesting when Rob bumps a thread, maybe I'm reading too much into it but ITK often follows not long after (De Ketelaere being a recent example)

Does seem to be links in Italian media today but could just be guesswork.

Ndombele-Dybala swap would be interesting.

Romero, Lo Celso, Dybala............

I wouldn't mind a little argentine clique like that in the squad. Talented players but willing to graft. As we found out with our Belgians have some compatriots often helps keep players happy and gets the best out of them.

Scenario... if Arsenal got Vhalovic but we ended up with Dybala how happy or pissed off would people be?
I could "live" with it. But if Dybala is a free, there's no reason why we don't go for both. Dybala would be one of those VDV signings that is a lovely extra.

He’ll most likely end up at Barca, PSG, or Madrid on a free transfer.

With a fat signing on fee in his and his agents pocket.

Really hope we have a chance, but cannot see it at all.

I’d be fuming
Dybala is one of my favourite players but I think I would too tbh as Vhalovic could set us up for years if he's as good as he seems whereas Dybala can be spectacular, he's 28 not 22 so we'd not get anywhere near as long out of him and also he's more injury prone.

BUT if he can stay fit he could for sure have an immediate impact as he's an absolutely class player and if he's not got long left on his contract and as he's 28 not 22, I'd imagine he'd be a fair bit cheaper than Vhalovic so if it meant we could strengthen more overall with the budget that could be a good thing.

Love him as a player though, wand of a left foot.
